Where is Kewell supposed to have his arm?

 

Don't think he was necessarily sent off for deliberately using his hand. More because he is Harry Kewell and the ref doesn't appreciate that.

Behind his back if he's stood on the goal-line.

 

It would still hit his arm if he is not able to somehow dislocate his shoulder to hide his complete upper arm behind his back.

even if its ball to arm it's still a pen, though you could argue that the red is harsh

I really feel sorry for Australia. 2006 it was the referee against Italy. Last match against Germany it was the referee who sent Cahill off. And now it is the referee again who sents Kewell off.

And of course it was Graham Poll who failed to send Simunic off in 2006 too, although it didn't matter greatly in the end.
