Cronky
Liverpool have taken over from us as the Premiership's leading mugs - paying over the odds in wages and fees in a desperate attempt to get back to where they think they belong. They're not doing their homework on players, they're in too much of a hurry and when the money runs out they'll be in trouble.
Shak
Dalglish. Guy should become a lawyer. "Your honour, on the night of January 17th my client was in a business meeting with several people who can vouch for his whereablouts. He did not rape anyone that night, and therefore can not be a rapist. I acknowledge the CCTV footage of him raping all those women on other nights doesn't look good... but I ask you again... if he is in fact a rapist, then why didn't he rape anyone on the night of January 17th?" AliGupter
Indeed it was, would have been an absolute disgrace if it wasn't given. No idea why people are still talking about it.

leffe186
Apparently our starting XI today cost less in transfer fees than Carroll and Suarez. Meaningless, but just saying.
ponsaelius
Not meaningless at all. Nice STAT.
Nobody
Pretty sure our starting eleven against Wigan would have cost less than Carroll alone.
midds
Pretty sure our starting eleven against Wigan would have cost less than Carroll alone. £22m (ish) and £9m of that was Coloccini. Only 4 of the XI cost more than £1m.
Nobody
Wasn't Colo £10m? Still, that's just over two thirds of the Carroll sum.

Hanshithispantz
Cabaye, Tiote, Colo, Simpson, Raylor, Best, Jonas, Obertan all cost over £1m didn't they? (not sure on Best and Raylor but the rest certainly did)
Guest Haris Vuckic
Simpson, Raylor, Best didn't.
Hanshithispantz
Aye I thought Simo was about 750k or something. I seem to remember Raylor was about £2.5 though (fuck knows where I've gotten that from) and I didn't realise we got Besty for that cheap, nice. Guest Haris Vuckic
Raylor was part of the Zoggy deal.
Hanshithispantz
Aye I remember now, I must be thingking of the "touted fee" that must have been in the news at the time.
Ronaldo
Simpson, Raylor, Best didn't. Raylor was valued at around £2.5m for the N'Zogbia deal. Best cost around £1.5m.
