Neil
By that stupid logic, how many 'good' seasons has Given had at a 'good' club? Checkmate All right, finishing in the top 5 for three consecutive seasons makes us shite. Given's proven, that's the point. He's done it at all levels. Hart's done nothing to deserve all this praise. Given's done enough to earn his reputation and has done nothing to deserve being called 'done'. Yes he has - arguably the best goalkeeper in the Premiership and looks like being a clear England No.1 for many years to come. Why shouldn't he be praised? One decent season with Birmingham makes him arguably the best gk in the Premiership? Clear England No.1 having only played 7 games for the team? Come on, man. He's as hyped up as Foster and Carson were before they crumbled. Similar profile as well: decent season for a mid-table team, lots of praise, starts for England... Hart's better than both of them, but he hasn't done enough to earn this 'best in the Premiership' title that you've so easily given to him. That'll be why I said he looks like being the England No.1 for many years, and is arguably the best goalie in the league, hence clearly implying there are other keepers of a similar level, or indeed slightly higher in some minds. Ronaldo
He clearly isnt the best keeper in the prem! He is a good keeper with the potential to be a great keeper... Given, Van Der Sar, Cech & Reina are all better... Given is on the bench where he belongs. Hart is better in every single respect.
Ameritoon
Man City being beaten by their own tactics is great to watch.

You are a joke, he was fantastic. He doesn't have a large sample size to go by, but in those two years he's been the best keeper in the league, easily the best English keeper. If someone continues to play as well as he has he deserves to be praised. You're so blind. Two years? What? Where did the other year come from? And have you forgotten the fact that he was almost dropped for Maik Taylor ten or so games into the season because he was making so many silly mistakes? Like I said, overall, he had a decent, all right, good, season. He's the fresh face so he's getting hyped up but when he makes the mistakes that I think is in him, people will see his true level, which is not world class. Taylor Swift
Several articles from way back then when Hart was making mistakes early in the season then Taylor came in and had a good game. I remember reading a few fans saying that Taylor should continue to start, but McLeish stuck with Hart and he went on to have a good season.

Ronaldo
Given marginally is the better shot-stopper, and that is it. There's a reason Given is sitting on the bench. Age, and that is the only reason. Hart is far, far better at dominating his box, a better distributor and a better shot-stopper.
