Ishmael
70% blame on Gomes 5% blame on the lino 25% blame on Blatter
Ameritoon
That ball was more in than the one we got against us, for what its worth... ? You know, the one Enrique tried to save You can clearly see the ball doesn't go across the line in this one, you can't in ours.
OoOGazOoO
Unreal tbh. The linesman didn't even signal for a goal at the beginning then changes his mind...wtf? It did seem that he took his time to decide if it was a goal or not.
johnnypd
Oh, and the linesman is in as good enough position as could be expected. He has a good enough view. agreed. as if he would ever be on the byline in that situation. and even if he was, his view would be blocked by the goal post. Dave
Can't understand this 'can't give it if he wasn't sure' business. Obviously he was sure, I doubt he was saying to the referee 'well I dunno, might as well give it though.'.
Mr. Snrub
I'm suprised they haven't said allowing the goal was the right decision just because it makes the title race more interesting.
OoOGazOoO
I'm convinced the officials have been influenced by the crowd there, they seemed to stand and look at it for a good while. I thought exactly the same.
Ameritoon
70% blame on Gomes 5% blame on the lino 25% blame on Blatter I hate Gomes, but this is ridiculous, the linesman had no business making that call. He obviously had no clue.

In one of the recaps I saw it clearly over the line, could have been the camera angle though. Still, serves gomez right for being such a flappyhandsky. M4
Oh, and the linesman is in as good enough position as could be expected. He has a good enough view. Indeed. And again bring in something like Hawkeye and that would take pressure off the linesmen as well.
Ishmael
Probably looked over the line from where the linesman was standing.

Obviously he was sure, I doubt he was saying to the referee 'well I dunno, might as well give it though.'. You can blatantly tell the linesman wasn't sure man. He says fuck all at the beginning then suddenly signals for a goal? Anyway Chelsea will now win.
Tsunami
Video has to be the way forward. I was convinced it was in; it wasn't, I would have wrongly given it. These decisions shouldn't have to "even" themselves out.

Guest Geordiesned
It'll be class if Chelsea now get a penalty for a blatant dive. Redknapp's head might actually explode!

Ameritoon
It's not that I like Tottenham, I just really don't want to see Liverpool in Europe. Best case for me is Spurs stay five.
