Guest BooBoo
I think he could be a disaster for them.
Cronky
I have the same problem with Houllier as I have with Avram Grant. Neither of them look or sound the part.
relámpago blanco
I like Avram Grant but I don't think hell do well at west ham. Sullivan and Gold clearly find and sign the players.
Guest gggg
All things considered they were overachiving a bit under O'Neill. All thing considered apart from the size of the club and money spent, why should Villa be finishing lower than 6th when backed properly?
Guest
Think Grant is over-rated as fuck tbh. Had the easiest job in the world at Chelsea, and had ready-made excuses for failing at Portsmouth.
Guest gggg
Sill did a better job in the CL than any Chelsea manager.
Ameritoon
Sill did a better job in the CL than any Chelsea manager. Think that's because he didn't get in the way, just sat on the sideline and scowled while the team did the business.
Dinho lad
They're probably just waiting to see if Bob Bradley is ready to confirm his interest in the job or not he's already ruled himself out, didn't he? I think Houllier would be a quality appointment for them, tbh.

Aye, I reckon even I would have taken them to the final that year
relámpago blanco
Couldn't stand any american being a Prem manager. "He's a great right side defenseman, if we go into overtime I know I can count on him to step up to the plate"

"He's a great right side defenseman, if we go into overtime I know I can count on him to step up to the plate" Alright dude, anyone who American who knows enough about soccerball doesn't speak like that. Except for "Upper 90," everyone says that, hate that shit.
thenige
Villa will go from one of my most liked Premier League clubs to the opposite end of the scale if they appoint Houllier. Car crash waiting to happen.

They don't know what a winger is. You have to say right or left midfielder.
Ameritoon
Yeah, I mean anyone who knows enough about the game, like someone whose managing doesn't talk like that, middle school kids on the other hand, do not.
Tooj
If they appoint Houllier they'll probably appoint someone like Jason Cundy as Director of Football.
Dr.Spaceman
Jason Cunty? Why him?

Bad Mongo
Hopefully he'll swap John Carew for the black Milan Baroš.
Wullie
I'd be pretty disappointed if we appointed him so I'm happy enough.

They don't know what a winger is. You have to say right or left midfielder. You have players from West Africa, South America, Central Europe, etc. You have managers from all over the European continent. These people grew up speaking a plethora of different languages who have had to learn English, are in the process of learning it, or can't speak the language. It really is baffling to me that you think there would be a problem because the Americans speak a slightly different dialect. Americans shouldn't commentate the sport, though. Ever. Guest Tall Striker
Wont last two seasons there. Will be gone when the likes of Young and Agbonlahor are replaced by 'work-horses'. No reason why we can't be finishing higher than this lot 2 years down the line.
