FustinoSolano
He's largely been a liability when available for the last two years but we have looked a far better team when he has played this season, still offers more than Colback or Anita and we looked far more solid today with him in the team. As others have said would like to keep him until the summer.
Guest
Hopefully this is Colback long gone as a 1st choice midfielder.
Sima
He's played really well recently. He'd be my first choice for playing alongside Shelvey every game. On this form I wouldn't sell him at all.
Guest
Don't think this will do Saivet any harm at all actually. Gives him a chance to adapt, play the odd game here and there and come next season, should be in a far better position to be first choice.
Leazes_End_Mag
Him and Shelvey are our best CM partnership by far.

Whoever plays alongside Shelvey is going to have a big responsibility. It's fairer to let Saivet adapt first, by slowly integrating him into it. He looks a handy footballer, to me, good CM competition.
Guest reefatoon
It's great that I don't have to look on in total despair at Anita and Colback being utter shit in the middle. Makes such a difference having half competent players in there for a change.
Guest
If only we'd got Shelvey in the summer. Fair enough Swansea probably had no interest in selling back then but just someone like him, we'd have won 1-2 of those first 8 even and we'd not be in this mess. Totally agree, even having Tiote fit and in this kind of form would have made a difference, as our midfield was pathetic and the root cause of a large amount of early defeats. Wallsendmag
Aye we're a far better team with a fit and in form Tiote in it. He probably hasn't got a future here after the summer but if we can keep him fit, and interested, he'll be a massive help to us staying up.

themanupstairs
Wish this daft twat was more consistent. If he'd been in this form more consistently or at least not so far from it we'd not be in so much trouble. Totally bossed the game and dovetailed very nicely with Shelvey. If he'd been in this form more consistently or at least not so far from it we'd not be in so much trouble. Totally bossed the game and dovetailed very nicely with Shelvey. Think he's had a quite few injuries which haven't helped. Plus we've been changing system quite a bit and we've found one that suits him - having Shelvey along side helps as well - it complements his play. This partnership is the best since Tiote/Cabaye
Disco
Must be the one of, if not, the only player in PL history to have more disallowed goals than actual ones.

Figures 1-0 Football
Having seen his goal again, I think it was probably right to disallow it. Mitrovic was massively in the way of the shot and had to move to let it fly past him, 100% interfering with the goalkeeper. However having said that, the linesman should have flagged immediately after the incident and not wait until the West Brom players went over and moaned about it. triggs
As I said when he was on the verge of being sold, he's better than Colback and Anita and should stay until the summer at least
Guest Gomez
He did well alongside Cabaye too, so hopefully with Shelvey doing the distribution, he'll be able to stick to what he's good at and gain some consistency.
sempuki
Can't see him being sold - they must understand it would be a bad move at the moment.

M1tche
Right now he is the best choice next to Shelvey, so unless that changes it would be crazy to sell him.
