Good job old Joe cancelled the Douglas transfer .

And let Perch go

Good stuff from Kinnear so far. On that note, where the fuck is he!? Heard zero from him since the end of the window

Should be playing every week for Barca the way people bring his name up on here

he is at Dinamo Moscow mostly not playing but has started the last two.

No big loss as M'Biwa and Colo should have more time as a pairing and I dont totally trust Pardew to not just throw Taylor right back in.

Would be canny if he could stay fit as he is half decent as an option.

Kinnear was right, Douglas is s****.

We sodding needed someone mind. Love the lad when he's on form, but Taylor is a ticking time bomb in so many ways.

I presume you've seen loads of Douglas to have such an informed opinion?

I'm kinda happy he isn't back yet. He'd probably walk into the starting 11 and do some daft shite to mess us up against Hull.

Why do people persist with this bullshit?

Pretty embarrassing to read people being happy or relieved that he's injured (more so on twitter than here). He's a very competent back up centre back whom we should be pleased to have on the bench. Just because hes not as good as Colo or MYM doesn't mean he isn't important. Talk about a small club mentality- we should be glad to have something resembling a squad for once and not celebrating him not being available.

Think the sentiment is more around people not trusting Pardew to break up a partnership which seems to be gaining confidence every game for sake of changing things, me included.  Agree, its better he is available.

If the sentiment is that Pardew will do something that he has already shown he wont(unless i dreamt the Villa game) then its just as stupid imo. Its people slating Pardew for the sake of it.

Season 2012/2013 and an abundance of shocking decisions not enough to slightly concern you?

Not as long as we're playing well and winning, no.
