wormy
He's been unbelievably bad in his last 4 games. If you were to isolate his contributions in a highlight reel it'd resemble evidence in a match-fixing trial. So true it's depressing.
sparkzter
Ha has had so many chances, its time now he moved on. He has been terrible and is bringing nothing to the team.
Guest BooBoo
Interesting to see if Pards gives him a run. Its inexplicable how so many previous managers have shown prolonged faith in him. Shola needs to step down for a while, give him a recall come the mackem game.

Guest neesy111
Shola's clearly injured and the Ranger should be given a chance now.

Cajun
I reckon Shola plays like Messi in training.
oldtype
Sometimes I wonder how good he'd be if somebody along the line taught him how to control a ball. Well, that and the offside rule.
KaKa
Shola is a bum and isn't worth anyones time. Just a massively useless thing.
Zero
To be fair, when he's fit, he performs quite well. The problem is he always have minor injuries that makes him unfit.
Ronaldo
Only if 'performs quite well' equates to a goal every 5 games and about as much use in open play as Peter Lovenkrands with a broken leg.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Can't wait for him to be back "leading the line" against Wigan
Cajun
Been out for a while, could be quite good for these couple of games. Isn't that the normal Shola pattern? "Hang on, he isn't as bad as I remembered actually..."
ponsaelius
Last time we ditched him he came back and had that 3 game spell of not being incomprehensibly shite. Maybe he'll play well. Lol.
TRon
Shola needs another striker alongside to have any chance. Just can't see him scoring if he plays up front by himself or with Nolan.

Cajun
Pardew was blatantly trying to keep Carroll going until the window opened and we signed 2 quality forwards.

merlin
Relying on Shola going into 2011. Pathetic really. This - absolutely. Do we REALLY need another thread about Shola ? Proved himself a CCC striker(and no better) a long time ago. Odd flash of brilliance interspersed with long periods of shambolic mediocrity. If NUFC are relying on Shola and Ranger for goals over the next month, my Relegationometer rating will jump from 7.5 to 8.5.....

I think that's a bit harsh he has had a few decent games this year to justify his position in the squad I think the problem was that in the summer it was Keane or bust. I also think Hughton felt he was going to play 451 more often than not with HBA and Nolan playing off Carroll. I think we have seem the need for 442 at times so now another striker is a must. I am sure there were attempts to ship one out in the summer as well with no bidders being forthcoming. Club need to decide what they want to do and decide quickly
