Guest DMan Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Glad to see him sign as he is a good professional but can't quite understand why certain players are getting extensions, Shola for instance WTF??? and Jonas whilst a good professional doesn't have a final product and surely this will stop the development of Marveaux, etc Shola being offered a contract only makes sense if it means Sammy will be happy to stay put. Seeing as that is almost certainly the case it's well worth it. Somehow Ashely doesn't strike me as the sort of person to give Shola a contract to make Sammi happy... If more for the fact that it shows we are willing to offer players new deals that they might actually sign, if anything Aye, also suggests that the problem with Nolan and Barton's contract talks were more to do with their respective demands, not so much the length of deal for their age.
