Guest Roger Kint
1 win in 9. Upgrade? f***ing hell. Can't believe that stat. How have we stayed in the top half? Cos only 2 were defeats in the league and 1 of those 9 games was a cup game. Plus we won the 2 games before it so its 2 defeats in 10 in the league really which looks better. Mick
At home in the league: P W D L Pts F A GD CH 8 2 3 3 9 16 10 +6 AP 7 2 3 2 9 16 12 +4 We're lucky we went for the upgrade, we'd be screwed without it.

EthiGeordie
It just shows how unfairly we sack Hughton....... I don't think Pardow is a lesser manager but he is equal to Hughton.... it is just Hughton sacked unjustily
Ronaldo
Hughton was a complete arsehole, though. Pardew's at least a nice fella.
JH
Oh, and you know who you could really have done with today Alan? Yeah, that's right. Routledge. That's so frustrating. Players out of position all over the place, and concentrated attacks down one side of the pitch which were quickly sniffed out - all because we were missing a pacy player for the right hand side of midfield. You couldn't make it up

Agreed, all nice fella's shag players wives (allegedly) and hangs around waiting for somebody to get sacked because he's been lined up for his job. You couldn't make it up Well said. Absolutely baffling decision to get rid of Routledge. We never learn. It sort of reminds me of when we used to loan out players and not put a clause in that they couldn't play against us. And they'd score against us, time and time again. Don't release players that you can't replace. Better yet, don't get rid until you've bought the replacement. It's not difficult.

Cajun
On Ferguson: "I’m actually buoyed by Fergie’s performance when he came on, he added a little bit to us and perhaps when Enrique came off I perhaps could have brought him on. "It was only his youth and the fact that he hasn’t got any experience in a game like that which held me back but he’s got talent and he showed that when he came on." Fair enough imo. Mick
Days like today give an understanding as to how a club with Tevez and Mascherano were almost relegated.
midds
Ferguson was stripped and ready to come on when Enrique went down. He then changed his mind and brought Shola on which meant 3 players playing out of position rather than the 2 he originally started with...

BUT every time he has played he has been pure class. That sub just reflects the whole game. Ferguson should have been brought on and I want to see more of him now on. He is a better option to use than the likes of Guthire. Get a grip Pardew. Don´t like when you loses the plot every second game.
