Incognito
The time to play Colo in midfield was Bolton away, that's not hindsight talking either,I said it in the pre-game thread,as I felt Bolton's physical strikeforce would expose him.

Guest
Just stick with the same as Sunday I reckon. Smith didn't do THAT bad down there. Didn't let van der Vaart & Modric play as they normally can anyway.
Amir_9
We did fine at their place for large periods, as long as Perch isn't playing nor Smith. We have a chance.

Guest
In that case I'd go with Gosling if he's match-fit now.

I agree with Neil that if Carroll is back then I think we'll get something so fingers crossed for his return from injury. Any news on his injury? Only lost three times at SJP in the Premier League, and won six of the last seven in the league? fucking hell, away win nailed on

Ashley17
Where would they play Pienaar? Probably wouldn't come in for Lennon and certainly not Bale...unless they move Bale to left back?

buzza
I would take a risk and put Gosling in the middle instead of Guthrie: -----------Harper---------- Simps---Willi---Colo---Enrique Barton---Gosling--Nolan--Jonas -------------Best--------- ----------------Carrol (Shola)-----

merlin
Ahh those two Robert goals in 03/04 season Out of this world! I always think of Martins' thunderbolt when I think about Spurs games. The 7-1 hammering in 96/97 far betters that in my opinion ; one of the best wins under KK and what made it all the sweeter was one of their fans running on to the pitch after No 5 or 6 to confront their keeper as if he was to blame..! Classic. It was, I believe, KK's swansong as our manager.
Guest Roger Kint
The 7-1 for me as it was KK's comments after that about Francis that stick in the mind. Ps it was after Charlton in the cup he left(2 games later)
buzza
I make an ammendment to my team set up as another thread reminded me of how overrun we were in midfield against this lot the last time. Take away best and put Guthrie into midfield to make a midfield five of: Barton--Guthrie--Nolan--Jonas ---------------Gosling---------
