sempuki
Has an interim manager ever been sacked? I know it's never happening here but just curious. Has an interim manager ever been worse? Terry Connor? Terry Connor is a decent bloke who doesn't spout shit but fair point.

sempuki
Worse than Pardew - not as a person but as a manager. There, I said it.

midds
Minimum of Palace, West Brom and Everton will all overtake us in the next few weeks. If Sherwood keeps Villa going then you can add them too. We're nailed on for 14th or 15th and about 40 points.

We're nailed on for 14th or 15th and about 40 points. It will be enough to survive. So long as we are not going down (which I can't see) there is only 1 left game which I'm bothered about. You shouldn't be, it'll be the worst game of "football" witnessed by mankind and we'll still come out second best. We're keeping them up to add insult to injury, nailed on. Guest waterbottle
Should have attacked more Still, could have been a solid 1-0 victory, if Krul had saved one and the penalty been given

Guest
Actually, yes. Carver has had some bad luck so far, infinitely better than Pardew, I'm glad we have a passionate Geordie in-charge for once, he'll turn it around, I'm sure of it! He understands our fans, knows what we expect and want. He was brave enough to play 2 upfront as well. We could do much worse. I'd rather have Carver, I'm sure he'll improve this club, His passion for the club alone will attract talent, imo, as they'll see what it means to us fans. Appoint Carver in the summer with the PR spin of Money to invest, local man in charge and him not getting a fair shake of it due to injuries and suspensions. Guest waterbottle
True test of Carver's ability coming up with Colo out! I back him to pass it. Let's hope Charnley and Ashley see sense and keep him
