Ameritoon
Dude backing MLS Detroit didn't get his land. Says he wants to keep trying, and there's definitely space in the city for a stadium, but by the time it's sorted the expansions will probably be filled. Pretty sure MLS has basically minimal interest in going there anyway. Can only hope Columbus crashes or something and move to Detroit.
Kanji
Hope it tanks. Miami is a crap sports city. No business having a team in Miami other than Becks wanting to buy a home down there for his family. Commish needs to veto that idea. Dude backing MLS Detroit didn't get his land. Commish should suggest Detroit to Becks

Ameritoon
There's some nice apartments for basically nothing in terms of rent. I might end up going back sometime soon. We won't get a team though, unless the league started to expand past 24.
SEMTEX
I'd rather live in Detroit than Miami tbh. Ok we get it Deuce, you don't like Miami. Your point has been made.
Kaizero
Detroit seems like a nice gamble for both sports and people at the moment tbh. Seemingly on the up again after being down in the shitter for a while so getting in when they're still down and rising up with the city could be smart for anyone. Deuce
D.C. starting to clear out the dead wood, releasing Lionard Pajoy, Carlos Ruiz, and Marcelo Saragosa. Good move for the club, none of them offers much.

Guest TBB
Club is just devoid of investment. The hierarchy is too interested in waiting until the stadium is done and pushing this 'we want a group of young homegrown guys' pitch.
Deuce
Hope Olsen sticks around. Nice guy. Smart guy. He'll get it right eventually. It's an awkward situation. He's a club "legend", seemingly smart coach, and a nice guy. But christ, they were atrocious this year. If he hadn't gotten them to the playoffs last season, he'd be gone by now. Club is just devoid of investment. The hierarchy is too interested in waiting until the stadium is done and pushing this 'we want a group of young homegrown guys' pitch. Yeah I don't expect they'll be looking to make any splashes in the transfer market. More young players on loan. It'll be interesting to see what happens, if anything, now that Thohir is the majority shareholder at Inter. Be nice to get some of their youth players in D.C. on loan. timeEd32
Preferring to live in Detroit over Miami. That'd be like choosing to live in Benghazi over Monaco.
cubaricho
Miami Beach and Miami are two totally different beasts. There are probably parts of Miami at least on par with Detroit when it comes to crime/seediness.

Ameritoon
Tbf, the big three make much better cars post-bailout. Still though, if you have a Honda in Metro Detroit it's likely to be egged at some point.
