That's why I think Wigan is asking for too much and no one have made a bid No club is going to pay £9 million for a player in the last year of his contract. You could say that for Sunderland. Villa are waiting to see if Downing goes before signing Zog and Liverpool are waiting to see if they get Downing before putting a bid in.
