AyeDubbleYoo
A spokesperson for Royal Emirates Group said the club’s chairman and several high-profile players were due to arrive in Dubai in the next 24-hours. To do what exactly?
Colocho
The name change thing can't possibly be happening. If it is, it's the day that football died. Bit of an exaggeration tbh.

Yes, for effect. I would like to see your reaction if Mike Ashley had renamed NUFC "Team Sports Direct" like.

Colocho
Disgusting that the Spanish FA are letting this happen. Hardly surprising though, I bet a few of the fat cats at the top are pocketing from this.

Dave
What's the difference between this and renaming/advertising all over the stadium? If it helps the club get some money it's a great idea. Fuck tradition, money is all that matters.
Ishmael
What's the difference between this and renaming/advertising all over the stadium? If it helps the club get some money it's a great idea. It's almost a complete loss of identity? Branding across a stadium is a nuisance, but it's still Newcastle United and it's still St James Park. Ishmael
Dave, you should feel worried that I took your post as genuine if it was in fact a troll. Erm, not if the club gets renamed.

They going to at least keep there colours or what?! Will it be named Team Dubai Zaragoza?? Or just Dubai? Because if only Team Dubai, then hell yes its a big difference. Ishmael
Dunno, Salzburg is slightly different in that's it renamed/rebranded the club a few times throughout it's history and has always retained Salzburg. Suppose it's not a complete loss of identity?

summerof69
FIFA should put some sort of legislation in place to prevent this type of thing happening.
