We were playing horribly, he came on and got 2 goals out of nothing to save us. That's different to playing well and strikers scoring as a result.

It almost like you want us to lose so you can tell us you were right all along.

Players clearly got a rollicking at half time.

Credit to Pards, he changed things early and fired the side up for a vastly improved second half.

Our turnaround wasn't entirely down to Ba. Everyone improved.

'Everybody played well in the second half and papered over the cracks.' ... no.

His first goal changed the game completely. I wouldn't have bet on Cisse scoring that chance with the form he's in, as proved by his awful miss in the first half.

His first goal would never have happened without serious determination from Cabaye followed by a perfect, to-the-millimetre, undefendable pass. That wouldn't have happened in the first half either.

Anyway, this is a pointless argument. You're glass-half-empty, i'm glass-half-full. There are positive to takes from tonight because we haven't attacked with such finesse, or fought with such determination, all season. That second half should really galvanise our season and it wasn't completely down to Ba, as good as he was.

This

Goals from nothing? Apart from cabaye nicking the ball back and putting in a peach of a ball?

If that's nothing then I don't know what some people want to see
