Jack Flash
We were playing horribly, he came on and got 2 goals out of nothing to save us. That's different to playing well and strikers scoring as a result.

Ted Maul
Sorry like but we were embarrassing first half and we've been pretty poor all season so far, nowt wrong with pointing that out. Brilliant that we've come away with five points with that in mind.

Yorkie
Our turnaround wasn't entirely down to Ba. Everyone improved. 'Everybody played well in the second half and papered over the cracks.' ... no.
Guest BooBoo
Players clearly got a rollicking at half time. Credit to Pards, he changed things early and fired the side up for a vastly improved second half.
AlanSkÃrare
So, are we back to Demba scoring two goals every game until the ACN, and then Papiss takes over?
Skeletor
So, are we back to Demba scoring two goals every game until the ACN, and then Papiss takes over? They won't be going to the ACON.
Jack Flash
Our turnaround wasn't entirely down to Ba. Everyone improved. 'Everybody played well in the second half and papered over the cracks.' ... no. His first goal changed the game completely. I wouldn't have bet on Cisse scoring that chance with the form he's in, as proved by his awful miss in the first half.
Yorkie
His first goal would never have happened without serious determination from Cabaye followed by a perfect, to-the-millimetre, undefendable pass. That wouldn't have happened in the first half either. Anyway, this is a pointless argument. You're glass-half-empty, i'm glass-half-full. There are positive to takes from tonight because we haven't attacked with such finesse, or fought with such determination, all season. That second half should really galvanise our season and it wasn't completely down to Ba, as good as he was.
Jayson
No idea why anyone would purposely prefer to think our first half play was more indicative of our ability than the 2nd & try to base an argument around it.

Aye. 100% cynical, like i said. Bloody tedious.
Wilson
Our turnaround wasn't entirely down to Ba. Everyone improved. This Goals from nothing? Apart from cabaye nicking the ball back and putting in a peach of a ball? If that's nothing then I don't know what some people want to see

TherealnorthernTOON
Tbf Everton was there at the first half, our team wasn't at all. Second half we we're better, Everton didn't get to move it around at freewill. But tbf, anita seems way to lightweight to play in a bog standard 4-4-2 as a CM alongside Cabaye. We need tiote in there to show some muscles.
Unbelievable
Apart from actually having his shooting boots on his all round play and holding up of the ball means he should start ahead of Cisse for me at the moment, if it has to be one or the other. Skirge
He is not a happy man and in his post match interview it seemed to be about way more than just being benched, not the happy buzzing Demba of last season.

Mole_Toonfan
If it has to be one or the other. Why? i do agree atm Ba is in much better form and deserves the start over him but i'd still play the both of them.
