Yorkie
Martins was excellent today I thought. Yup, absolutely deadly. It was him who created the goal, just like last week, and he could have had a bundle of goals. Gutted that his goal was chalked off, and he should have had a couple in the second half. If only Emre had passed that. Grr! He wanted a bullet for that did Emre.
Superior Acuña
Hard worker, brilliant touch, intelligent player. Has more than earned a new contract, and maybe the east stand's naming rights. and agreeance on martins being good, i felt so sorry for him

Mick
Not a good footballer but has scored a few, no better than I thought he would be as a footballer but I didn't expect the number of goals that he's scored, you can't fault him for effort. Yorkie
Miles better than expected. I absolutely slated his signing, i thought it was pathetic. But he's become something of a cult hero, and like i said yesterday, this is a shit season and it will have been a shit season when we lie 14th/15th in May, but Sibierski will definitely be one of the special bits. Love him to bits!
Guest theunis
He is slow as hell but makes up for that in his experience and knack for a goal and heading. Can be in a wheelchair but if he keeps scoring ill never stop loving him
Newcastle Fan
We need a propper song for him lads. STM
What guts me the most is that Sibierski is over 30. Had we signed him for that price when he was 26 i'd love him but now i feel he can only be a stop gap. Has he signed a two year contract with us? For once Roeder got this transfer spot on. Keep us the good work!

Yorkie
Brilliant touch? Not brilliant, but good. His touch and compusure was of a very high standard today.
M4
Brilliant touch? It's fucking World Class compared to the normal tall lump of shite who usually plays up front.
Guest Grimbo
Brilliant touch? Yes... he is one of the few players we have who seems to be able to trap a ball without it bouncing three yards off them. One of the things that p*sses me off about watching Newcastle... We can't help giving away the ball due to unforced errors We can't trap a ball passed at anything faster than a trickle We can't seem to find a corner taker capable of beating the first defender
Guest Magnetic North
paid money for a 33 year old midfielder (to play him up front) who thus far has one league goal and a handeful of shaky appearences. not convinced thus far. Holy f***ing smoke, he's been one of our most effective players when played, and could teach some team-mates about accurate passing and finishing. Guest Gemmill
Re touch - N'Zogbia's has completely deserted him at the minute. The ball is just bouncing off him. Can that really be down to form, or are we witnessing another promising youngster go backwards due to sub-standard coaching at NUFC?
Guest Phil K
paid money for a 33 year old midfielder (to play him up front) who thus far has one league goal and a handeful of shaky appearences. not convinced thus far. Wouldn't be in the next round of the UEFA Cup without him. Stop complaining and enjoy it. Ridiculous, isn't it ? The lad is averaging a goal every other appearance and still they whine. How many has Martins got per appearance ? At least he's not a sick note waver like certain other characters who the same people defend who have a gto at Sibs. Not a great player, no. But a 100% who will give his all. And he's contributed more than most in this team.
Guest
5 goals in 640 minutes of action...or 1 goal every 128 minutes. Under a goal every 1.5 games. Who'd have thought that.

He scored 21 minutes from time yesterday He plays the whole 90 min against Frankfurt (I assume he will) 21+90=111 128 - 111=17 So if he starts against Reading he'll score in the 17th minute...
