Guest neesy111
Great game. Man Utd fans can't really celebrate claim revenge/City are out of the cup. Man Utd remain very beatable. Chris Foy knocked the holders and our biggest rivals out of the biggest domestic cup. Celebration surely. FYP

We knocked the holders and our biggest rivals out of the biggest domestic cup. Celebration surely. Oh yeah, it's good - but it's no 6-1, and they were down to 10 early on, and they clawed back 2. It's a good result though, for sure.
Tiresias
Hard to avoid the conclusion that 11 man city would have spanked them with a performance like that. Good for the competition though since City may have romped it otherwise.

JH
Bringing on Scholes nearly cost him the game. That, and the stupid sending off, Man U can count themselves very very lucky IMO.
OoOGazOoO
We beat Utd, Utd beat City, therefore we're the best team in the country.
Tiresias
Utd knew how to punish 10 men for most the first half, not unimpressive goals from rooney and welbeck either, credit to them. What they were doing second half is beyond me.

Really thought it'd end 3-3 once they got their 3rd. Again, credit to Mancini. He's really gone up in my estimation as a manager today. Got it absolutely spot on in the 2nd half. Don't know what Ferguson must have said to his players in the dressing room... He's getting old, the Scot.

David28
"Paul Scholes reminds me of when you went back to school after the 6 week summer holiday and you'd forgotten how to write" Wouldn't go that far. Still looked way out of touch with the game if that's the way to say. Needed some time to be able to play a pass longer than 3 metres again.
Froggy
71 - After coming on after 60 mins, Paul Scholes made 71 passes (97% complete), more than any City player in the entire game.

That's because the other players gave him the ball like it was his farewell game tbh.

Scholes wasn't at fault for the second goal IMO. The player who took the throw-in didn't come to meet the ball. It was a decent enough knockback, the other player was just really slow to react.
