colinmk
Ironically he's been shit since everyone else has been shit. When we were good, he was actually pretty good. Seems to be a pattern developing! Players playing for a shell of a club and playing shit, who would have thought.
Wallace
I wonder if Jonas leaving has had an effect. The club seemed to handle it badly as usual and Jonas seemed to be upset by the way things panned out. That's not to say the decision to move him on was wrong but the club are pretty ruthless when they want rid and Jonas had been a good servant to the club. Colo should be above that but when you think a work colleague is being treated unfairly, it can create conflict behind the scenes.

Got to treat leaving players like shit & hang them out to dry though otherwise the fans might think something is up with the club/board/manager. Beren
I've been quite disappointed with Colo's performances this season. I want our first choice pairing to be MYM and Willo. MYM will make mistakes but he's shown enough potential to be a worthwhile investment IMO. Willo is what he says on the tin. I like him. I want wilo to warm the bench at best to be honest. There is no way someone who is so awful with the ball at his feet should be starting for us It's a progression. Long-term, sure, of course I want a ball-playing (oo er) centre-back, but for now I just don't want us to look like we're ready to concede 3+ per game. I think Williamson, with the right protection/people around him, can be an integral part of a steady back-four while the side establishes some grip on its collective defensive responsibilities. I agree with you in regards to having a back four that can keep it tight but surely we can do better than having willo
Pata
Ironically he's been s*** since everyone else has been s***. When we were good, he was actually pretty good. This is true, he hasn't been rubbish all season. He put in great performances when he replaced MYM.

Chicken Dancer
This spineless cunt didn't even acknowledge the fans when the game ended. In fact ony HBA, Armstrong, Williamson and Shola did. Cunts the lot of them.
Pata
Great performances. I remember you being absent from this thread, basically equals to him playing well. Same re Tiote.
Ronaldo
He had a few good games, as a captain should. Same with Tiote, though he's a different animal because there's nowt more to be said about him. He is what he is: not my type of player and never will be.

Only positive thing I can say about him is playing him as an anchor should allow us to play more forward thinking central midfielders
Ronaldo
Each to their own. I like CMs who give you something at both ends of the field. Lee, Speed, Dyer.
Pata
Tiote is nowhere near as bad as being made out. He's a DM who often has our best passing statistics like. He's fine

He's fine He passes the ball sideways and backwards having high pass completion doesn't mean much IMO. Don't get me wrong his heart is in the right place but some of his decisions are baffling see his many long range efforts, or his preference to press high up the pitch leaving our defence unprotected

Guest neesy111
Tiote and Anita have scored the sum total of 2 league goals for us. That isn't good enough as a midfield pairing.
Ronaldo
He wouldn't get into a side that set up to attack at this level, not a chance. Anyway, this has all been said too many times.
Weezertron
Tiote and Anita have scored the sum total of 2 league goals for us. That isn't good enough as a midfield pairing. I agree but Tiote isn't in anyway an attacking midfielder. It's tiote + creative. The season we finished 5th he and Cabs were so dominant in midfield He takes enough shots. Ronaldo
The season we finished 5th he and Cabs were so dominant in midfield That's one of the most popular myths on here. We rarely controlled the midfield that season.
Disco
Difference between taking pot shots from distance because there are no options and missing chances. Can't remember Tiote missing many if any chances for us.

Ronaldo
One thing I will say, Tiote was obviously very proud to wear the armband and gave the effort a captain should and more while he had it. Fucking stupid to take it off him.

Guest fraser
Don't get this. Was clearly the best player on the park yesterday, got to everything first, his distribution was OK, made Shawcross look like the donkey that he is. Never stopped going forward as he understood the back three notion, while the other two had their deck-chairs out. Didn't like the lad when he first came but he is the least of our problems now.
