L'Equipe: Modibo Maiga fails medical; transfer 'abandoned'

Recommended Posts

didn't Given have a injury before he signed for Man City

Carroll was injured for about 4 months before he joined liverpool

Both those clubs waste money on players even if they are injured or just average. We don't.

Based on nothing other than stereotypes, not hot on this.

Other than Etoo and Drogba no African striker has looked the real deal to me.

Is he a Martins/Gyan/Kalou? Ie an athlete with some skill but no idea how to play football?

Appreciate this is a slightly ridiculous post and British strikers can be brainless too, just there is an African "type" of hitman.

Adebayor's not bad on his day, but quite inconsistent. Just think he's a bit needy really. Would have him here in a heartbeat.

I take it that you guys are confused by the Eusebio and African reference? He was born in Mozambique then a

part of the Portugese empire.

Yeah that's what I meant.
