Guest smoggeordie
Just wondering what proportion of people are taking it to every game from now on...
Stevie
I know Shepherd is a fat cunt, his time is almost over and he has to shoulder a lot of the blame, but......he has his good points. When they got the batch before Wigan he sent them back because he thought they were shite, these ones we got yesterday, I'm absolutely staggered by the quality of them, they didn't make them like this when I was a bairn. A lot of people think it's a small time gimmick, but these people are also wankers, I'll be taking mine, and thank you NUFC for this whatever the motives are. Nobody
I really hope everyone brings it. Needs to make that our "thing". Would be something to take away the focus of our current league-position

Leazes1986
I DIDN'T FUCKING GET ONE. I thought it was gonna be one of those days on Sunday. Woke up late with a hangover so i didn't have time to go on the drink. Got to the metro station an hour before kick off, and the useless metro's were delayed so i was waiting until 1 o clock for the metro. Missed the first couple of minutes of the match, and there was no scarfs left. I've got my scarf from Shearer's testimonial so i'm ok. Would have been nice to get the different ones they were giving out on Sunday though.

I will have my scarf at the match, but I doubt many people will bring theirs back.
Guest Gemmill
Didn't get one. NUFC - incompetent to a fault.
pinkeye
Has anyone actually written to or called NUFC to let them know that they did not receive their scarf? Just wondered because I guarentee that there are some left, there were only 48k people at the game on Sunday and I recon they will have bought at least 55k scarves so somewhere there will be some left...... Worth a try?

Worth a try? I emailed them more from a ranting perspective than any real desire to secure a scarf. I just fancied pointing out that after the big fuss they'd made about giving everyone a scarf, and making sure they were of the requisite quality, I would have expected them to have been sufficiently competent to at least station somebody at all of the turnstiles. Clueless.

Just wondered because I guarentee that there are some left, there were only 48k people at the game on Sunday and I recon they will have bought at least 55k scarves so somewhere there will be some left...... Worth a try? Unfortunately i was late (f*****g Metro Centre traffic) and they'd run out at my turnstile. I was happy to accept that but when i got up stairs and the greedy bastard on my right had 3 under his seat then I was a bit miffed so say the least - they were for his bairns he claimed. So on that basis i have e-mailed the club to see if they can provide me one considering they'd promised scarves for ALL supporters AT THE GAME. I just think there's a principle here and why should some suffer due to the greed of certain individuals. I did say please and await a response. Would be really interested in know what their response was. I also got to the game late as the Metro's were all running late (and were full to bursting point) but, my turnstyle on the Milburn Stand had plenty of scarves, they even had a few left as we were leaving after the game. I will be taking mine, probably.........
Ally
I tend to take my Shearer scarf to the games. The scarf twirlling won't happen unless everyone has a scarf though, and if your going to the pub pre/post match the last thing i'd want in a hot pub is a scarf round me. You can take it off in the pub you fuckwit! What next from Ally? "I'm having a bath on Saturday when I get home, the last thing I want in a hot bath is a scarf round me!"
