nuneaton
my dad was born and lived in a council house. council houses were initially set up to help those who needed it the most. nowadays its just a system which is abused and exploited. some of them are generation after generation of family who never have or intend to work. Till Thatcher flogged them off. Sorry to ask, but have you swallowed today's Daily Mail by any chance? no! wether thatcher did or didnt it is the truth. and anyone on the dole is just lazy and feckless. most single mothers just pop sprogs out to get a council house and most disability claimants could work as normal. thats not really what i said! But it's basically what you suggested. the system is being abused. if you cant see that then theres no point trying to explain it. i never even mentioned single parent mothers or the disabled, thats your business if your bringing it up. the system is being abused, always has, always will, but by most ? not in my experience. i never said most. Totally agree, it is only a few who abuse it. My one gripe is Mrs Bimpy and i can only afford two kids, yet i take my two to school and families who have no money from work coming in continue to have more. Only a few familes but it still baffles me as to why they keep having more without the money to treat their kids, how they must want to.

Guest BooBoo
I always think when Ashley drops a bollock some will try to out-outrage each other. Although nothing this time will quite top the buffoonery of grown men dressed like undertakers marching round the stadium with a pretend cardboard coffin. Its funny but as a kid my dinners at school were free as a kid from a single parent, yet now i moan my head off as i can afford to pay for them (£2 a day x 2) for my kids but the kids of parents who dont work now get them like i did for free. I'm as confused at hell at how i'm suppose to think. Its actually hard to not be a bit snobby now, if thats the best way to describe it.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
probably been said already but Everton have Chang Beer (as other clubs have alcohol sponsors), Villa have Genting Casinos, Stoke have bet365, the mackems have Invest in Africa and the smogs have Ramsdens. All arguably "dodgy" sponsors in one way or another. No-one forces you to take a loan with a ludicrous APR. I know sometimes circumstances leave those with little money no other option but I don't see MP's and politicians that are having a pop at Wonga pushing for a more ethical, government-led alternative to help those in real financial difficulty.
