Hanshithispantz Posted Saturday at 13:42 Share Posted Saturday at 13:42 If this is what we want to see then why not critisise him for booking Big Jer for his first offence? It was a stonewall yellow but apparently that doesn't matter?
David Edgar Posted Saturday at 13:44 Share Posted Saturday at 13:44 The lack of yellow cards in the first twenty minutes was a disgrace.
wormy Posted Saturday at 14:32 Share Posted Saturday at 14:32 I'm sure there'll be enough people raging in the player and Eddie threads so I'll just keep this bumped to say this absolute cuntbucket doesn't deserve to get away with this shambolic performance just because we didn't deserve to win anyway. Utter waste of space. Might as well have fucked off home and let the players argue out any decision by themselves that first half.
Pilko Posted Saturday at 14:36 Share Posted Saturday at 14:36 We deserved to lose today no question but I still hope Attwell gets cock rot. Useless, inconsistent fuckwit.

Cf Posted Saturday at 15:56 Share Posted Saturday at 15:56 I'm all for letting a game flow and not throwing cards out but that took it too far. You could tell the players knew they could get away with anything.
joeyt Posted Saturday at 15:57 Share Posted Saturday at 15:57 He was too slow to make a decision and by the time he made a decision another incident had already happened which caused flashpoints which were his fault for making slow decisons

I'd imagine Bruno will have a few bruises on his legs tomorrow, absolutely battered all game, ref gave 0 protection. When they started showing highlights of the Bournemouth press after the game it was just foul after foul, even the player they interviewed acknowledged he needed to ref to be lenient for their style to work. Craig Posted Saturday at 16:00 Share Posted Saturday at 16:00 Needs to be consistent, it's like referees are deciding how to referee games differently every other week. It's like they go this week we are going to let more challenges go, no just decide at the start of the season and stick to it throughout so everyone knows what is what. CheikBoom Posted Saturday at 16:02 Share Posted Saturday at 16:02 (edited) I didn't mind him letting things go to be honest. I like the game to be spiky, but he lost control in the first half. Edited Saturday at 16:02 by CheikBoom

Cf Posted Saturday at 16:02 Share Posted Saturday at 16:02 If a player commits a few minor fouls they'll often get booked for an accumulation of them. How do you apply that to a team? Especially if you're clever and spread the fouls around. Just book some poor sod for a minor challenge even though it's his first offence as a warning to everyone else you've had enough? He was fairly consistent I thought. Made it clear he's not carding anyone first half. They accepted the invitation, and we never adapted.
mattypnufc Posted Saturday at 17:44 Share Posted Saturday at 17:44 Absolutely fucking awful today. Not sure it would’ve made much of a different however it sets a tone, and ultimately when players continually get away with persistent fouling, and you can impose anything because of it, it affects you. He was just shit. Completely and utterly inept.

Tsunami Posted Saturday at 19:14 Share Posted Saturday at 19:14 They made 18 fouls, 10 in the 1st half. They had 2 players booked in injury time at the end of the 1st half where the ref initially didn’t give us a foul and then ended booking Kluivert for pushing Big Jo around the face area and another player for the initial challenge he hadn’t deemed a foul. A couple of justified yellow cards earlier on would have made a difference. We were well beaten without his terrible refereeing but it didn’t help.
