NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Not that it EVER happens with ANY club, but If our squad is so small we should be bringing in players in the first few days of the window, having done all the leg work before then. That would be the logical thing but we might save £250,000 by waiting till the last day http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Ash1.jpg

I wouldn't worry about that.

"If we get to January and we're in a vulnerable position, where we are now or lower, then we're going to need to have a little bit more thought about how we're going to go forward."

So we might think about buying some players, if we're still 14th or worse by January.

He needs to wait until the summer...January has no value....Summer is where the values at!

But it's best to bide your time and get the best price...however never buy late in the window as the prices become inflated.

I think Sulejmani's contract runs out in 6 months so it might be realistic. We probably need 4 players in total - Douglas, Debuchy and Sissoko would be great but that's not going to happen unfortunately.

Yup. RB, CB, box-to-box CM, and a F.

3 of those 4 are out of contract in the summer so you never know [/clutchingatstrawswearingboxinggloves]

Norwich after Danny Graham. Can see us getting him. Pardew wanted him before, and we can smash it up to him

We probably won't get anyone in Jan knowing what Ashley's like!

I've been almost completely desensitised to any transfer rumours when you consider the ridiculous ratio of players linked:players signed; but i am looking forward to January, i wish it was sooner. Right now, the only thing i can see properly galvanising us is some signings. But if we're still lingering around the bottom three after Christmas, we'll hardly have much to choose from.

Can't believe i'm saying this sort of shit. Can't believe there's an air of 'survival' about this season, after the position we were in in May. What a fucking stinker it has been so far.

Well that was Carroll really, i suppose. I never fully believed that Pardew actually wanted Carroll back - and it was more of a boardroom plan - but i guess the football on show suggests it really was his idea. Irritating considering the fluid football we saw at the end of last season that had no place for a classic target man.

Literally couldn't be less arsed about transfer rumours at this point in time.

Thinking about transfers is a lot more fun at this point than thinking about the actual games.

It would be if we weren't owned by Ashley though.......

Young Serbian midfielder of my team in the NL (20), will leave for around EUR 2 mio. Newcastle and Villareal are new clubs that have interest. Fiorentina's bid was accepted last summer but they failed to submit the bank guarantee in time. Will leave in the winterbreak, because of the financial chaos at NAC Breda.
