Hurts me seeing us get balls in the box and him not busting a nutt to get on the end of them.

It doesn't hasppen that often tbf, he looked a bit fed up by the end today, which isn't like him.

I think he's looked livid for months.

Went from 13 in 14 last season to 13 in 47 this. Needs to do much better next season.

If the service continues to be dire i don't see what he's supposed to do, he's feeding off scraps.

We had 1 shot on target today, what would any striker do with that?

He isn't the problem, our creativity is dire and continues to be so.

He's usually cracks a smile as wide as the Tyne at some point, but I didn't see it today.

League goals for Cisse - 8

League goals for Nolan - 10

Worrying times for a number of reasons.

All that tells me is Fat Sam gets players to fit his style of play and Pardew continues to force his style of play on players who are clearly not suited.

I used him as an example because I love him but there's probably other examples of how bad 8 goals is. Grant Holt has 8 I think.

(I'm not completely blaming Cisse btw, we all know where the major problem lies)

Aye i'm not denying its anywhere near good enough it clearly isn't i just don't believe he would continue to struggle if common sense prevailed.

Nolan scored a hat trick in a nothing game against Reading.

False stat

He scored as many today as we have in about 6 weeks.

Feel free to bang on about this over the summer...

He isn't the problem, our creativity is dire and continues to be so.

We created a pathetic amount as usual but he had that chance practically unmarked and 15 yards out which he hit over, then failed to make a run for the Gouffran cross. That one on target may have been three or even a goal.

We aren't creating enough chances but he could have done better with quite a lot this season. The frustrating thing is he is clearly good enough to be taking these but he can be so casual with his finishing he misses easier chances than he scores.

That first chance the ball came behind him, it was not an easy chance. The Gouffran cross, yeah he looked like he'd given up by then, no excuse for that.

My post was based on Cisse in general as i haven't had the chance to see the game as of yet.

Just seen it again, sorry but there is no way that was difficult to keep down, he had about 5 yards of space, probably wasn't even 15 yards out and enough time to get a decent connection. A player of his ability should be able to get that on target.

Everyone's shooting and finishing has deteriorated massively this year. I'd love to know how much we practise compared to in the past/other clubs.

I haven't got a clue what we practice tbh

Shit at corners, shit at finishing, tactically inept, shit fitness.

It was a snapshot, they can go anywhere. If the ball was in front of him and he could see the goal when he shot you'd have a point.

It was slightly behind him and it hardly caught him by surprise. We will have to agree to disagree on what a premier league striker should be capable of I think
