TenkoDaLuz
We're booked up with flights but just wondering where is it best to stay in Lisbon for the pre-match gathering and a good night out after the game? Heard that Bairro Alto is decent place? Yes. It has one street full of trannies. Avoid it.

Unlucky Luque
Flying into Faro on thursday 13:10. Do people think I will be able to get the 13:41 train to Lisbon? Or is the 15:05 one more realistic? Also do you think pre-booking train tickets is wise? Are Portuguese trains likely to "sell out" ?? Nah, they stay pretty true to their principles. Will we finish above where we finished last season? No but I'm just trying to establish how good they are. I think in cup games the Portuguese can raise their game. They're all good technically but the league is a lot slower and they roll around on the floor at the slightest touch. They're athletic though and if they need to, they can compete but for me, only in cup or knockout competitions. I think playing a whole season in the EPL, they'd be rushed and they'd get frustrated at not getting fouls for near misses they way they do over there. Porto and Benefica would be in and around the top six imo, sometimes managing a top four.

Rich
Season ticket holders can now buy their seats for next month's Europa League quarter-final second-leg at home against Benfica. Newcastle take on the Portuguese outfit, who currently top the Primeira Liga, on Thursday, 11th April, with an 8.05pm kick-off. Initially, only the lower tiers of St. James' Park will be opened and season ticket holders can secure their favourite spot in the stadium until Thursday, 21st March. From Friday, 22nd March, to Monday, 25th March, season ticket holders will be given the opportunity to buy alternative and extra seats, while tickets will also be released to Club Members. Tickets will then be available for online general sale from tickets.nufc.co.uk on Tuesday, 26th March, and full general sale from the Box Office - including telephone sales - on Saturday, 30th March. So now for season ticket holders wanting their own seats, Friday 22nd March for season ticket holders wanting extra seats/members and Tuesday 26th March for general sale. Can't wait, despite our problems.
Dave
Be a pisser if we're like 4-0 down from the first leg. Hopefully we're still in the tie.
Rich
I'm gonna gamble regardless, was able to get fantastic seats for the Anzhi tie thanks to buying early.

morla84
Was surprised at first that the havn't opened the whole ground straight away, but I guess a lot of sales will depend on the first leg result
Guest Pablito
Hey guys, is it possible to get the tickets from Newcastle's website to the visitors sector? Avoid only that one.
