madras
Btw, Bolton away following was pathetic considering they are fighting for survival. One look at a map should tell us that Boltons fans are to be respected. As part of greater Manchester they could easily take the gloryhunting Manc route with greater legitimacy than the other armchair hordes. They no doubt had to put up with the imbecilic 'your support is f***ing s***' chant too. Shame really, I hope they stay up. i'm not fussed if they stop up or not. it's strange how you can make your mind up on a club by something as simple as meeting a couple of fans from a club. bolton may be a fantastic club, all bar a few of it's fans may be fantastic people but the ones i met when we beat them 4-0 at their place really put me off that club. IndonesianToon
LeazesTerrace on Twitter is trying to tell me it was 4-3-3 first half. Tell me I'm not going mad, but it was a flat 4-4-2 for the whole game wasn't it? Only with Jonas in CM for Perch and Fergie on the left in the 2nd half. Looked that way to me. Yeah, I noticed that too

gbandit
Throw in Dani Alves and I'm okay with it He'd rather throw himself. Really never rated Alves like others do. Remember being on a train about three years ago and people were saying he was the best full back in the world. He has excellent feet and is very fast but I always see him blaze his crosses over and overrun things. When he steps up to take free kicks I always expect him to smash it into the crowd. Maybe I've just been watching the wrong games
Ameritoon
He can definitely be erratic, but fits in perfectly with their preferred system.

Village Idiot
Alves' delivery is fine. Not the greatest FB on that regard, but good enough (11 assists in the league this year). But his stamina and workrate are just out of this world, it's like having an extra winger. He's key to us in providing width, since our wingers cut inside. Maybe I've just been watching the wrong games I did make the point that maybe I've never seen him play that well. I honestly haven't, as I don't have Sky, I tend to only see them play about 7-8 times per season
JH
Soopa fans were out in force again yesterday. Someone telling me "why don't you fucking sing" makes me want to do it even less.
