Very strong starting 11. Balanced back four, pace and trickery on the wings, craft, guile and tenacity through the middle, and a lethal striker upfront. The bench is ok. I think those two will be the major signings. I suspect Ba is going to have crunch talks with Pardew soon. After his second half of this season I reckon his options are limited. However, we'll almost benefit from selling him. Pardew won't feel forced to move Cissé from his central position or go 4-4-2 to accomodate Ba. But should Ba leave it could actually benefit our style of play allowing us to play 2 wingers in the 4321 system. Marveaux going into the middle 3 and Jonas replacing Ba out left. It would be a gamble going with one striker and would put more onus on goals from midfield but i definitelt think it would aid our system and style of play. If we got another class striker in like the likes of Luuk De Jong we can rotate Cisse or switch to 442. RE us doing our business early, i think we will, its what has got us ahead of the game in recent times. I reckon our main signings will be done and dusted pretty soon after the window opens. See i think he has done well but i would prefer Jonas out wide. His ability to run with the ball is great out wide and i think Marveaux's creativity and technical ability would be great through the middle. Creativity either side of Tiote, pace and trickery on each side, lethal finishing up front, balanced attacking fullbacks and a solid central defensive pairing. Sounds so fucking good to me.
