Dyeyzzon
Shitloads have centre-mids have worn number 4, attacking ones too. Gerrard for England rings a bell. Anyway, he's number 5 for Ajax and our number 5 is available, so he'll probs have that. Argentina style, LIKE. Better do alphabetical like them tbh. Guest n4e
I wonder what Van der Wiel is doing right now as Altidore is raping them from the left flank. Not watching but Van der Wiel does seem susceptible to getting absolutely destroyed every now and again.

Guest Ilsteir
begin de overstap al maken begin to overstep the mark? Wanted to make the transfer from the start. (They're talking whether Raiola is to blame). Seems as though a couple of folk on this forum aren't too happy about it: No, they are not. Most seem upset with the Ajax board to allow this transfer to happen as they fear it will cost them the title this year. Anita has been seen an important player for their last two titles. There is also a sense of irritation with their fallen stature, that an Ajax starter would leave them to play for a mid-table EPL team. Many Dutch fans still think all EPL teams are like Stoke. Compare it with Arsenal fans and RVP.

Kanji
Really chuffed, hopefully it's officially announced soon and the lad is available for Spurs if we need to start him. Hopefully well bring in the much needed RB (VDW or Debuchy) and a striker before September 4th and no departures from our top crop and I'll be buzzing. Sifu
Just caught up with this thread. Positive stuff plus the fact he can play DM/CM/LB can only be a good thing. Glad I'm wrong about this one dragging on. A signing before the start of the season is a nice lift to have

Mole_Toonfan
Many Dutch fans still think all EPL teams are like Stoke. Explains these comments on another forum then This is bad for Anita. NewCastle is barely a Step Up from Ajax, certainly no major step up & they play rubbish football on top of that. Anita should have gone to a team where he could play good passing football and where his intelligence could have fit in. Not some team where a rubbish physicaly bully like Tiote who was always considered hopelessly mediocre becomes awesome because ref's dont protect the players and he can bully and foul as much as he wants. New Castle wont suit Anita, they have an atrocious defense which Anita has to protect and they dont play fluid passing football. Massive loss for Ajax, there is no direct replacement. And possibly another major Dutch star getting wasted. I told you stats dont mean much. And besides what does that say about the individual capabilities of your defense. Its a pretty mediocre defense talent wise. Maybe as a team they get well and protect each other, nothing shines out though. Again Anita does not suit NewCastle. When you have the likes of Tiote & Colochini creating the play from the back with 0 technical ability and they are worshipped like they are semi-god there is a problem. I have seen enough of Tiote to now if he becomes such a decent success with NewCastle there is something wrong with the team. That & this is a massive blow for Ajax. There was no need for this. NewCastle will continue to fight for 5/6th spot at best. On top of that he could get benched for that thug Tiote for extra defensive security.Another Dutch talent about to get wasted.
