Shearergol
What makes you say that? Well he's in the country, they need a striker.
Guest palnese
Lukaku fucked, and the fact that they "stole" Traore from West Ham.
jdckelly
pretty sure they can't loan anymore players
Guest bimpy474
What makes you say that? Well he's in the country, they need a striker. They have signed Traore or whatever his name is. The 6ft 8 fella.
Tiresias
They could buy him, we can't compete with these sovereign state funded clubs
Shearergol
pretty sure they can't loan anymore players Ahh, panic over. I was worried for a minute that we'd lost out on someone who might get at least 3 goals for us this season.
CaliMag
wow... we are f*cked. A striker on loan lacking confidence possibly thrown in vs the makems. Forced to play and maybe even start the next few games without any adjustment time... This is going to be Jon Dahl Tommasson v2 isn't it?
duo
I think this lad will do well for us.
CaliMag
I hope for two things: 1. This guy has a pair of steel balls 2. the supporters give him more than a game before getting on his back no matter how crap he may appear at first.

Guest
Who was the last player to make a debut in one of these? Mboma?
Mole_Toonfan
I think this lad will do well for us. It does seem to be the case that most times we get a player that most are not that exactly excited by he seems to do well. Ala Gouffran.

Guest BenArfa10
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9139019/? Interview to Sky by Pardew, summed up- -Giving De Jong a chance -Wants to see if he can earn a contract at NUFC -Target man with good technique -Fans will like him I don't like the giving him a chance to earn a contract thing. We don't need players coming here having to prove themselves. We want ready made players. We don't want 50/50 hit or miss ones.

If the attitude is that they want to prove they belong then I love hearing that from a player. It's those who think they have already arrived that are the problem. The Bard of Byker
I note that Luuk refuses to wear a seatbelt in the earlier pics, despite a 'SEAT BELTS MUST BE WORN' notice being placed in plain view. I fear we've got another ill-disciplined type on our hands here.
Klaus
Signing him on loan was best for us tbh. He is out of form and has been for over a year, if he doesnt make an impact here we havent lost out and we can send him back. Making him work for a contract is the best way to motivate him imo. That's it really. It's in his best interest to find his form back. He's not going to figure at Monchengladbach, and if he does well, we'll sign him or he'll still get a good move. If he doesn't make a success of this he'll drop a level.
Guest elbee909
If he doesn't make an impact then we've half a season of points dropped due to a lacking an impact player.
midds
He needs to play and he should be absolutely chomping at the bit to play on a big stage. He's been frozen out at BMG and needs to play if he's got any intention of getting into the Dutch squad for the World Cup. Throwing him into a derby on his debut with him full of adrenaline immediately makes him a better option than the dopey, lumbering alternative. Throw him a shirt and see how he does ffs. You might be joking here, but it's a decent point. How about we buy a player that's fucking in form? Just looking to make save/money again, and fuck the actual needs of the team. You might be joking here, but it's a decent point. How about we buy a player that's f***ing in form? Just looking to make money again. Because no one who is actually in charge has any sporting ambition at all.
