Was even better a couple of months back when the players didn't have a clue what formation they were supposed to be playing and so everyone decided to play striker and not bother to defend. Tiresias Posted December 8, 2012 Share Posted December 8, 2012 Think it's actually start of a resurgence, think quality of italian footy dipped and the defences got vulnerable to width and speed that wasn't present in the league, italian league has got better cos teams are getting more attacking to take advantage of this and the defending is sort of lagging behind, will perhaps even out eventually but think Juve may be leading the charge in having an alternative to the present barca dominated possession tactics. Not saying Juve are up there at all yet (prolly nowhere near on player quality) but think they're showing an alternative that's not chelsea style all out defence.
