ponsaelius
Gael played well for a Championship side (that got relegated aye) but i'm sure he could start for some decent league 2 sides. League 2? He should be aiming way higher than that. Would be a complete waste of time for him. It's better than the reserves or sitting on the bench at Birmingham. I'm confused here, are we talking about Bigi or Campbell. Campbell Could/should go to league 2, Bigi definitely no lower than Championship at all I actually meant League 1 in my first post. Even still - competitive professional football is better than playing for the reserves. For who Bigi? Like below the level he was playing at when we signed him? Don't think it's worth while myself League 1 or reserves? It's a no-brainer. Jermain Defoe went to a side in League 1 when he was 18/19. Was obviously too good for that division, scored better than 1 in 2 but he came back with his stock super high. I also believe Caulker spent a season in League 1, then Championship then a PL loan. It's important to play man. Bigi was only starting in a team that got relegated anyway. One of Macheda's problems is that he's been loaned to teams that are a bit too big for him. Now at Donny before his injuries, he's showed he's a class act. He's not though, he's shite.
Weezertron
I heard today that when at Carlisle he was acting the big billy bollocks. Too good to play for them etc. which is why he was recalled.

yplasterer
Off to St Mirren, apparently. Newcastle youngster Campbell set to join St Mirren Monday 9 December 2013 St Mirren are in line to take Newcastle youngster Adam Campbell on loan come January 1, an agent working for both clubs claims. Spencer Downey has already helped to arrange moves for Paul Dummet and Conor Newton to the Paisley club as part of an affiliation agreement with the Geordies and says England Under-19 cap Campbell could be next. The 18-year-old - who turns 19 on New Year's Day - was close to agreeing a deal with the Buddies during the summer but moved to Carlisle on a short-term switch instead. But now Downey says Saints boss Danny Lennon could finally get his man. He said: "We're hoping to have that one tied up for January 1 and get Adam up there for the match with Kilmarnock the day after. "Danny thinks he is fantastic. He's wanted Adam for a while and probably should have gone up there in August but it didn't work out that way. "Newcastle value what St Mirren have done for Paul and Conor and believe sending Adam up there would be good for him. "He's a live-wire striker and will bring so much to that team. Steven Thompson will love him. He has so much energy and is rapid. He has a good shot off of both feet and will score goals." Campbell is highly rated by United manager Alan Pardew and made three Premier League appearances last season and another two in Europa League ties - but has yet to feature for Newcastle this term. Meanwhile, Downey is also working on a deal that will see Newton's own loan stay extended until the end of the season. The 22-year-old first joined Saints last January as he linked up with best friend Dummett - now back playing for the Magpies first-team. The duo helped the Scottish Premiership side to the League Cup, with Newton scoring in the 3-2 win over Hearts in the final at Hampden. St Mirren chief executive Brian Caldwell hopes to have the paperwork "concluded soon rather than later". However, Downey - who represents the player - admits there is competition from clubs south of the border. He said: "Because of how well Conor is doing right now he is attracting interest from clubs in the Championship. "But he wants to stay where he is. Newcastle would like him to stay because he's progressing week in, week out. "However, a lot of people are watching the SPL because it's a great breeding ground. "But the question remains that with Conor doing so well, do we leave him where he is, or allow him to move on to a club in the Championship where he may have to settle in all over again? "Both Danny Lennon and his assistant Tommy Craig are both clear when they say he is good enough for the Championship. He has good energy and skill." http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/newcastle-youngster-campbell-set-to-join-st-mirren.1386609248
Unbelievable
Good move for him I think. Needs to start playing competitively and proving he is up to it, or he will go the way of so many before him.

TaylorJ_01
My mate got a season ticket and goes with my flatmate. So far he's been working 5/7 Saturday's so I just give him a tenner and use his season ticket. Mint seeing a team that wins all the time and it's a good atmosphere! Football is gash though. Motherwell have had a series of hilariously bad keepers. Lee Hollis, Gunnar Neilsen etc - they've resorted to Dan Tzardik who looks about 12. Going to the Caley Thistle game on Sat. So in short - yes fuck off

Lionel Ainsworth looked electric on New Year's Day and I love a bit of Keith Lasley/John Sutton, so hope you keep winning PS: Not forgetting Wallsend Boys Club product Shaun Hutchinson either.
