KDT
Let's just all breath a bit, nobody knows what's going on. Wait to hear something more concrete and then go ape shit if that's required.
Ronaldo
This is just thinking out loud but I'm convinced the 'personal reasons' are Pardew-related. 100% convinced. They had a falling out quite recently, which our beloved manager was quick to publicize for no apparent reason.... Pardew is the poison at this club Utter rubbish, he's just the one who get's called on Ashley and Llambias' failure to address a dreadful situation. TRon
Surely he's trying to put a marker down that big improvements are required and nobody's "safe". Surely he's trying to put a marker down that big improvements are required and nobody's "safe". Why isn't he telling that to the first team players who have let him down, rather than a bunch of kids? The same first team players who you champion at every given opportunity in order to highlight Pardew's failings? Why isn't he telling that to the first team players who have let him down, rather than a bunch of kids? The same first team players who you champion at every given opportunity in order to highlight Pardew's failings? Most of them are leaving, or asking to leave as predicted by many a few months back. Which is what happens when you show no ambition and as result useless tosh play alongside players who deserve better.
littlelunchbox
Just always think worst case scenario inregards to Pardew, that way you can never be shocked by his ineptitude anymore.

It's absolutely mental but I knew this would be bumped straight away. The press have absolutely no comeback with stuff like this or transfer stories, they can write whatever they like and if it doesn't come off they will just write another story can't (well I can really) believe the reactions
ponsaelius
Sick of his stupid face and his stupid quotes stinking out the club. Wish he'd go.
Jack Flash
One of his trademarks is losing the dressing room and he's admitted (for no reason) they had a falling out recently. It might be jumping to conclusions but it's not much of a jump.
Doctor Zaius
As every day goes on he's looking more and more under pressure and looking less likely to turn it around. Having said that there is literally no viable alternative. Cant think of many managers who'd actively come and work under Ashley like.
Beren
Anyway. Quarter of the way through the season, and this result tees us up nicely to finish in a vastly underwhelming 10th or thereabouts as I predicted at the beginning of the season. Smug is me. Beyond that lies the sale of Hatem Ben Arfa et al, and the fall away from our 2011/12 apex. It'll be a whole new set of players and a good few years before we're back to such heights again. In a way, I envy Aston Villa.. at least they've hit the nadir of their cycle and are now on the way back up again. We've got a lot of downhill left. How wrong I was. KDT
Thought he looked pretty calm in his press conference today, certainly better than in the past few weeks.

Big Geordie
Worrying times. Something not right going on at the club, IMO. Free-fall is in danger of turning into the club imploding again. Just what the feck is going on?

KDT
Barton said he's the best man manager he's worked with, obviously he's a nutcase so you can take that opinion with a pinch of salt.

Stuy_O
Needs to avoid defeat saturday imo. Another loss and the ground will erode beneath this club, what with all the bad press recently. The press will finally twig something is up.

nemtizz
Seems to me like the whole Colo situation has been blown way out of proportion. I hope so anyway. What sort of 'disagreement' could have lead to him asking to leave, right now, in the midst of a relegation battle? (Insert Pards boning his wife joke here)

jdckelly
also it is so good to see everyone reacting in a calm measured manner and not instantly jumping to the worst case scenario....................
