I just can't see him being sacked once the season ends. DL for me has Ashley's ear if you like. I know for a fact he (DL) and Pardew socialise and are good friends. Ashley and DL are also friends but not in the same way Pardew and DL are from my own understanding. It was DL who suggested Pardew to Ashley who from everything I have heard about the man, is happy to let others he deems more knowledgeable about the game than he, make key decisions or at least have a major input. So long as he doesn't lose money.

We are basically relying on DL seeing the light if you like

Ashley and Llambias are really close, you shouldn't doubt that and Llambias was the first choice as Chairman until the City of London Police turned up at the club and we ended up bringing in a lawyer.

All I know is that DL goes out for meals with Pardew on a regular basis. He rarely spends time with Ashley outside of matches. They are mates of course but not as pally as Pardew and DL are. Of course, being the snake he is, DL will do whatever he has to to keep his cushy number...

Any expansion on that?

I can't be arsed to look but not long after he was appointed I posted what said client had to say about him. HE tellingly said Pardew would eventually piss everyone off with his bullshit. Our client basically said he was a fraud and someone who would divide everyone.

That's my view as well, I just don't think we can afford to sit on our hands and risk sabotaging another season. Players who are at important stages of their career don't have time to p*ss about while Pardew experiments with coaches, they will want to hit the ground running next season. I still think the next 4 games are massively important in Pardew's future. If we show some fight and cohesion he might get another crack. If we limp over the line and come close to getting relegated then he surely has to go. The fact we are still worrying about this with only 4 games left is a massive indictment in itself.

People who think Ashley will allow Pardew the opportunity to cost him £millions are living on another planet.  He might personally like Pardew but I can't see him settling for us struggling above relegation when he has so much at stake financially. Ashley was quite happy to p*ss off the entire support base with his treatment of Keegan and he was happy to take the same risk with Shearer, Pardew would be much easier for him to bin.

Llambias is the equivalent of Smithers to Mr Burns. Ashley might appreciate his bum-crawling antics, but when it starts costing him big money like this season has, I doubt he'll really give a shit about Dekka's opinions.

Swap the name WHU for NUFC and that could well be any one of us talking about, well, us.

He is a very poor manager, way out of his depth and will never amount to anything. In fact I will stick my neck on the line here and now and say finishing 5th with NUFC will be his career high.

Our WHU client from poor memory...

Heavy defeats home and away against 'lesser' sides

Long ball football

Stupid substitutions

Baffling tactics and team selections

Excuses after excuses

Players p*ssed off

Fans p*ssed off

Media p*ssed off

Boardroom p*ssed off

Only the latter to happen?

I'll never forget our client laughing when I asked him for his thoughts on Pardew. Bear in mind Pardew took them up, consolidated them and took them to an FA Cup final. Yet to our client, a life long hammers fan, he was nothing short of a s***.

It says it all when said client refers to Big Sam as someone we were foolish to get rid of and someone he believes is good for WHU...

Nor does Pardew appear to plan. The recent home loss to Preston was a disaster for Pardew’s team. This was probably the turning point of the whole season. So much depended on that one game – a six pointer. It was preceded by an uninterrupted week – no internationals or cup games to distract attention.

Pardew should have approached the game like a cup final. Preparation should have been planned all week long and the players should have studied Preston’s strengths and weaknesses and been totally focused. A game plan should have been worked on all week in training so that by Saturday everyone should have been totally up for it. Instead we saw a gutless lack lustre performance where an aimless team drifted through such an important game without really raising a stir.

That pathetic performance, and subsequent result, was all down to poor preparation. Clearly the manager is to blame.

Lets stop digging up old news, think most of us knew about his shitty history, that's why were bemused by the appointment in the first place.

Most were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt anyway and hoping he might had finally learned from his past and even improved.

Like the old saying a leopard never changes its spots.

He is who he is, a complete turd.

If they are thinking of giving him a limited number of games into next season then he's got to go at the end of this one.  If we give him 10 games and decide to replace him we'll be looking for another Pardew or Souness to come in.  We'll be looking for managers who are our of work or are about to get the sack.  The best thing the club can do it get this season over and dump him and move on.

You are both exactly right - failure to act in the close season means scratching around for the dregs of management if Pardew is fired half-way through next season.

As for him producing any decent performances between now and the season's end, its too late - IF he had a decent record at other clubs you would give him another chance if the side played well between now and then.

He hasn't and we cannot afford to waste another season.....

Looking to bring in a new coach according to Douglas in The Journal.

Good news.

That'll depend on who it is, i have my fingers crossed it's someone decent.

It's certainly preferable to just sticking with Pardew with no change of personnel anywhere. If we are stuck with him, I'd at least want a some fresh impetus/ideas in the coaching methods.

Just papering over the cracks....KK once brought in Lawrenson as our 'defensive coach' but it didn't make any difference - we still lost the title to Man U and our style of play didn't really alter.

Why didn't WHU, Charlton or Southampton consider bringing in a new coach before they fired him ? The answer is that they obviously weren't happy with having him in charge.....

It's better than sticking with what hasn't worked this season. Some fresh ideas wouldn't go amiss.

People need to get out of this mentality that Pardew's on the cusp of being sacked IMO.

Just because you don't want him to be sacked won't stop a large percentage of fans looking at his record and the awful performances of the side and thinking he SHOULD be sacked.

If he doesn't go in summer, we will be looking for a second-rate replacement by December....

That article is a scary read. The bits about him spectacularly failing to get the team to perform in really big matches rings especially true after the derby defeat.

I had been clinging on to some hope that he might actually learn from his mistakes this season, but reading that and the Southampton fan piece suggest this isn't a bloke who is going to do much changing.  :(

Might help if you read what Dave said for once instead of answering something you imagined.
