Ketsbaia
The thing that annoys me the most isn't missing out on Remy - who I wasn't 100% convinced about anyway. It's that we've been mugged and embarassed by Harry Redknapp.
Ronaldo
I would love it if QPR went down. They wont though. Should have gone last season They will. Players motivated solely by money fighting relegation never ends well. They'll get a nice little payday too when they are relegated. New club, new signing on fee. They have no reason at all to fight relegation. Just need to show enough promise to get a decent move, like Ba did. And Michael Owen.

mosstef
If he has a relegation clause at QPR, does that mean we can get him for free in the summer? http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS0zRTfj1L4zE_Wj-MehMpgqUddo0Gy4tFYAtdf7ajWCcKLYm3g8cS3hVfe

Novocastrian
In a normal world (without Pardew) we would be zipping the ball around between HBA, Cabaye, Debuchy, Marveaux etc and flying up the league table. In that setup I think Remy would fit in and be a success. I don't think he's the type of player that anyone in a hard core relegation scrap needs though, maybe I'm wrong but I think he's a huge gamble in that scenario. Lotus
We don't know what QPR have offered, we assume its a lot more but it might simply be a case of them including a relegation clause and us refusing to. Also possible Llambias has been a total arsehole to his agent. He has got form for this.
joeyt
Surely if he joins another club if QPR go down for a low fee no one will be able to match his wages
thenige
Find it hilarious that Harry came in moaning about the crazy wages QPR have been offering players then with his first signing offers silly money for Remy. Sure he'll do fine for a club that has signed about 20 players in two years who all I'm sure would put their lives of the line for the club.

Cajun
The problem i've got with this is if you're signing someone mid twenties for around 10 million how much are they expecting he'll be wanting? It's going to be around 70/80k generally. Players know what they can ask for, club generally know exactly what they're getting. Not saying 80k is right but that's what clubs are paying. Paying poor players worth not much 30/40/50 is where we've gone wrong in past. In a year or so's time Cabaye and Ben Arfa are going to be wanting that sort of money as well, if not more. I'm not sure that's right tbh. Cisse cost about as much as we offered for Remy and he will be on nothing like £80,000 a week. Loads of players go for £8m+ and I doubt many get close to that much.
