mrmojorisin75
The only chance we have of getting a good manager is if through the experience of watching pardew cast off natural talent Ashley has realised that paying an extra million a year (say) to get a manager of a higher calibre is likely to net him ten or twenty times as much in maximised player sales. That's our last shred of hope that it won't be carver imo

Guest Roger Kint
Lucien Favre ffs More chance of hiring Brett as manager tbh. Almost certainly in the Champions League and a big favourite to succeed Guardiola in 18 months. Nothing but bullshit to even link him. The clubs getting desperate dropping these stories along with equally ridiculous shite about £15m players
EthiGeordie
Carlos Queiroz just left Iran he can be a decent Head Coach.

The clubs getting desperate dropping these stories along with equally ridiculous shite about £15m players Tuchel actually biggest favourite for next Bayern München manager. But some still think that he is not good enough for us.
Guest Roger Kint
Even madder that people said he wouldnt come here as we are crap. Thats just said it all really
AlanSkÃrare
HSV are Germany's equivalent of NUFC. Getting it right there is like getting it right at NUFC.
Hughesy
Raphael Honigstein @honigstein 4m4 minutes ago Wow. @SkySportNewsHD: Thomas Tuchel will take-over at Hamburger SV next season, in any division. (I wonder if there's a release clause?) Mad you can get managers to sign pre contracts. All my dreams. Gone in an instant. Kept hoping we would appoint him. AyeDubbleYoo
Crazy to miss out on decent managers like that. Can't believe Tuchel for £2m isn't a no-brainer for any decent club.

AyeDubbleYoo
Even though McLaren is quite underwhelming he's a combination of Ferguson and Mourinho compared to Carver.
Guest Roger Kint
Even though McLaren is quite underwhelming he's a combination of Ferguson and Mourinho compared to Carver. Thats why i had him winning 12th place as opposed to bottom
Elephant
Interesting that Tuchel agreed already for HSV, with Dortmund being a real option in the summer. But if he is holding for Bayern Munchen, then Dortmund is not an option. Can see Klopp switching to England next summer with Liverpool and Manchester City as potential clubs. And it wouldn't be bad for Dortmund at this point, as it seems that Klopp can't change it around at the moment for them.
Minhosa
On 3 million euros as well - not even 'that' much. About £2 million a year. Pardew was rumoured to be on £350k + Performance Bonuses. That might explain a reluctance on both sides. Carver is on minimum wage and a Greggs expense account.

Robbo
Gourvennec was a very unusual footballer, seen as an intellectual. He studied at university during the beginning of his playing career, enjoyed philosophy and politics and thoroughly read left-wing newspapers. He was also an exceptionally intelligent and elegant playmaker The anti-Pards
