Just out of interest, of the clubs in the premier, how many people on here reckon we've got a better manager in place? Is there any that you would say, thank f*** we've got Pardew and not him?

Ian Holloway would be one for me, I'll have to think a bit for others.

It's difficult to tell exactly without seeing how other managers would react to having precisely these players, but I would probably only say Di Canio (before last night) and possibly, possibly Mark Hughes.

Don't think it's more the players at his disposal, more how many managers in the league would put up with what is above him and just work with it rather than against it.

24 hours late ;)

I wouldn't swap Pardew for Bruce, Allardyce, Hughton, Hughes or Di Canio.  I would be ambivalent about Mackay, Laudrup or Clarke.

Fucking hell.

...and you reckon Pardew is shit and a cunt? The bloke's not fit to polish Bruce, Allardyce or Hughton's shoes, man. Laudrup? Seriously? Staggering. I don't have any words for that, I really don't.

Sorry we should just keep on board with Allardyce when he said he knew if he stopped Newcastle first 20 minutes, the crowd will turn against them. He’s not wrong either, we are awful for it, up there with the worst in the league, we turn up numbers which is great but we don’t turn up and get behind the team as well as we could or should.

I would agree with Allardyce as he's totally non-football and just an utter cunt, but I would put Bruce, Hughton and Hughes above him any day of the week. So that's only two managers I can think of who are worse.

The fact you believe anything that cunt says, shows what utter tripe you post on here.

Allardyce might serve up utterly awful football, but he wins matches with it. For the most part in the last year we've done the former without the latter.

Pardew has a better record than Allardyce and Hughton had when they were here before.

With Hughton I think it's like for like.

With Allardyce I Can't imagine anyone that watched his football when he was last here wanting to watch it again.  Aren't West ham and Norwich fans both voicing dissent and wanting rid?

I knew Laudrup would get that reaction.  See how he copes with this season in the Europa after having a dig at Pardew, then I'll eat my words.

Allardyce won 42.7% of league points over 21 games here.

Pardew has won 45.31%

£6m on Alan Smith man!!  :jesuswept:

Cherry picking. Pardew doesn't have a better record than Allardyce in this league overall. I'd hate to have Allardyce here. Absolutely hate it, yet I think I'd hate it slightly less than having Pardew because I think we'd win more matches.

The Laudrup one is just silly. We were blowing out of our arses as soon as the Europa started. Swansea have already shown more under Laudrup than we ever have under Pardew.

Id almost take a relegation to get rid of the liar king.. at least we would be within a shout of getting a competent if average manager.

For me pardew is way below average and for all our stars its like giving a 10 year old a pound of beef tenderloin and ask him to cook a dinner.

He would only know how to make a pizza the same way Pardew only knows how to play cloggers... he benched tevez and macherano make of that what you will...

Yet another scandinavian nonce.

Having seen Swansea this season, playing some of the best football I've watched in the premier I think I'd take my chances. But it's a good insight into your thinking and I'm definitely quite happy to be in the opposite camp. Let's revisit this thread at Christmas and see who was right.
