sempuki
"When Mike is unhappy he does things that aren't good for the football club" Good to have an admission. Wow - quite shocked he owned up to that. MA will be p*ssed at that, as w all know what he wanted to say. "Mike is a big huffy kid and when things upset him he acts like an utter c***. This march on Saturday will no doubt have repercussions too!
Dave
Love the Ryan Taylor stuff, great move by the club that. What did he say? Ryan Taylor is involved in scouting the opposition and feeding directly to the players. Aye he submits a written report too, must be so tough for him to cope with what he has been though. Being injured for so long must make it really hard to still fell part of the club, but what they have done keeps him very much involved. Good that. Wow - quite shocked he owned up to that. Its not an admission as such, more a career suicide note. Implicit criticism of the owner and his appointment of Kinnear in the summer on live tv. Sounds like he wants out with his compo paid in full. Can't blame him tbh.
Ketsbaia
Cant believe he let that Ashley line slip. Hope it comes back to haunt him.

Ashley obviously will not be pleased to discover he has just been labelled as a petulant kid (which of course he is) on National TV. I suppose Pardew could have said it due to: a. Frustration at being undermined by JFK, not being backed in the transfer market. b. A careless slip. c. As above as an exit route. I would be inclined to go for A. Jack Flash
It wasn't a careless slip. He talked for about a minute about how Ashley is a genius in the business world but not in the football world. Hopefully the whole speech gets typed up somewhere as it was an interesting one. Guest bimpy474
In context though, he praised Ashley in the next sentence. All depends on how Ashley interprets it.
Ste
Yeah, I really liked the bit on Ryan Taylor. Great for them to do that, and it sounds like he is good at it too.
Ste
Pardew won't have to worry about the Ashley comments, as I don't think he would have said it if he wasn't 100% sure it was safe to do so.

SiLvOR
Loved the Ryan Taylor bit, really do feel sorry for him and it's wicked to see he is at least somewhat involved with the team.
Jack Flash
When a Newcastle fan's question was posed to Alan Pardew, asking 'Does the total lack of relationship between the owner and the fans affect you?', Pardew said: "Mike is a strong character. He comes from a background of success, whatever he has done in his business career has been a success. "When you come to football, the logic doesn't quite fit. We have many of these people in the game now, who have made their millions elsewhere. "Mike comes from a field where he has been aggressive in his tactics, and it's brought him huge success, and trust me, he is a genius in that world. "This is not his world, but he loves football. He wants Newcastle to do well, why wouldn't he? "He can't understand the logic sometimes of how it works, and it confuses him and I think it upsets him. And sometimes when he's upset he does things that are not brilliant for the football club. "But that's just Mike. I can think of a lot worse owners than Mike. We have no debt, except to Mike, so we're not in a bad position. "But we're not in the position our fans want to be in. They want us to be up there with Manchester United and Manchester City. But until a Gulf state takes us over, or a Russian billionaire, we're probably not going to be able to compete with them, and that's a fact." http://tyneandwear.sky.com/newcastleunited/video/85285/this-city-hurts-itself-candid-pardew-talks-fans-ashley-and-kinnear "If there was perhaps less pressure on our results, and the effect on the city, it would probably be a better club. But that's what it is, it's never going to change." Stop caring and we'll be a better club.

Mole_Toonfan
Tbf i do want that, what self respecting fan doesn't want to be winning league titles? but at the same time i fully realise its impossible and have realistic expectations of what we can achieve. Guest bimpy474
I never heard him talk about JFK...... He did. He said he didn't know JFK before he came to the club, gets on ok and said JFK hasn't interfered with training or tactics. Said Mike told him their might be someone else coming in (JFK apointment i mean) but didn't tell him who, just hinted about the appointment, Fwiw. BONTEMPI
Fucking ridiculous statement. You don't have to understand football to grasp that not signing players will make you weaker and put you at serious risk of relegation.

Mick
The "team full of internationals" bollocks is a bit over played here like. As if other clubs are struggling with pub team players... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2417511/Premier-League-club-guide-players-returning-international-duty.html We've hardly got a pedigree that puts the majority to shame. Interpolic
Actually all of the most successful clubs in the world have only a handful of fans who couldn't give a fuck whether they win or lose, so he's got a point tbf. Honestly, after all of the patience he's been personally afforded I can't believe he's still coming out with this stuff. The man is a first-class mook.
