Urgh I seem to be posting more in the footy section these days...

Today I was actually pissed off when Arsenal scored.

Must not get reeled in...

I won't.

But I want that feeling of going to the match and enjoying it...

Football fans across Germany have united to express a message of support to refugees.

A spate of violent anti-refugee protests have taken place in the country this week, but the resounding response has been one of solidarity from the German public.

And that spread to the terraces on Saturday as numerous banners were spotted, each bearing a clear message: ‘refugees welcome’.

On Thursday, Borussia Dortmund invited 220 refugees to their Europa League match against Norwegian side Odds Ballklubb.

A tweet was shared from the club’s official account, accompanied by the hashtag #refugeeswelcome.

It was all part of a wider pro-immigration campaign welcoming asylum seekers.

The German media and many celebrities have rallied in support of them, many of whom have fled war-torn countries.
