RIP Joe Kinnear (1946–2024)

Pretty cruel situation to unleash a man who has turned to drink and lost his son to cancer.

He's brought all this on himself tbh. If he'd just come in and quietly gone about his job it wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as it has been.

He's fire fighting a fire he basically started.

True, but maybe people should listen to what he has to say first and see if he can actually communicate ideas.  Alos, i hope its not just NUFC fans shouting shyte at him all night.  Would much rather it be a discussion.

Think we've heard enough, he really needs to hear what the fans think directly then answer. No one needs to hear more shit from him, last thing he needs is another platform to ramble on like the town drunk.

Shame that the press have it in for Joe (understandably) and that NUFC supporters only associate him with being at the club during one of the darkest periods in our recent history.

He's actually a reasonable communicator when not ranting, hard as nails (something we lack in our playing management), and has a wealth of playing and managerial experience.

He'd probably make a decent DOF somewhere.

He's had a few opportunities to express his ideas etc with those interviews and he took to baiting the fans and rewriting history. He now has to explain himself in front of a baying mob due to his stupidity.

He's had 1 job in football in last 9 years.  That was because of Dennis Wise, not his managerial ability.

Got to wonder why nobody else in world football was willing to touch him with a shitty stick.

It's a shame more clubs don't aspire to be like that glorious mid-90s Wimbledon side tbh.

It'll just take someone to call him on all his bullshit like appearances, finding players, signing players, manager awards, his part in relegations etc...and he'll be swinging for people.

Basically drown him in facts as to why he's a bullshitter, then start on why he's not welcome here and not good enough for the role. He won't last long after that. Make sure people record his blow out and that's him done here and possibly life.

Fair play to the fat c***, tbh.

I detect Ashley saying "...get out there and smooth things over, FFS. You've been back here 10 minutes and already you've managed to get  ALL the media on the fans side - I thought that was impossible !"

What do we do if this cretin actually oversees some decent signings? Is the damage he's done irreparable? I hate to think we'd ever have to praise this twat. However, we all want Newcastle to be successful, would Kinnears involvement spoil any potential success.

In reality we sign some over priced/over the hill players who are affiliated to one of JFK's cronies...and we're in for a long hard season of hoofball.
