Unbelievable
The only way to get rid of Ashley is to find a buyer. Sigh.. Yes, obviously a buyer is ultimately needed for the club to no longer be owned by Ashley, but that doesn't mean there is nothing we can do except wait. We can make life really uncomfortable for him, making it more appealing for him to up sticks and lowering his asking price. Also, when the club is in turmoil the club could well also be otherwise more attractive to certain types of prospective buyers iyam.

Colos Short and Curlies
2009 the last time we were officially for sale? Economy is in a different place now, more likely to get a buyer now than then I reckon

Economy is in a different place now, more likely to get a buyer now than then I reckon Also, he's just made over £100m from selling some of his SD shares, hasn't he? Could he be more likely to write off the debt, and just lower the asking price this time? If he does decide to cut and run, that is.

Interpolic
The last time people were calling him names he threw his toys out of the pram and put the club up for sale until the pressure died down a bit, this time he's flipped out and banned the local press for some fairly innocuous reporting on the situation. A concerted, united effort could well spark a reaction you wouldn't expect.

Like him making a genuine attempt to sell the club on, perhaps at a loss. His main company are raking it in, why does he need the hassle? He really needs not to be let off the hook if he's even anywhere near being on the ropes.

Stop buying that stuff altogether anyway, quality is better than quantity, but anyway... go to his competitor stores (don't tell me he owns ALL of the competitors....)
