Relegation next season if Pardew stays in charge. There will be minimal investment in the summer and it'll be spent on more mediocre talent from France that he won't know how to work with.

I'm not so sure, we are looking at moving on 3+ French lads as Pardew cant make them work. No point in giving him more of them.

What's the alternative? Giving him mediocre British talent to work with?

Can't wait, I'm sure Catts and Bardsley fit Pards' profile.

Ok so I get that he toes the party line and I get that he meets the league and cup standards that are required of him, I get that he watches his best players sold in January with no meaningful replacement and the transfers are few and far between. What I don't get is that even with all this unwavering allegiance, his propensity to devalue players and inability to sufficiently blood youth players. If that is our model then he is seriously failing in our ability to be self perpetuating.

see this is the catch isn't it?  you'd hope ashley would bump into someone with some football knowledge in his local boozer this time and start taking their advice about football matters, thus highlighting the bolded point to him

however how many people in football are actually towing this line at the moment?  pardew has done such an amazing job of convincing everyone that he's working under difficult circumstances it doesn't appear people in the game seem to think he's doing badly, and on paper he's not i guess

suppose we can hope he bumps into wullie and they get chatting or summit

" A winning mentality is all about wanting to win and then actually winning. So if you do that then lose you haven't achieved your goal but if your winning mentality is also to get  beat by a lot of goals then if you lose you've also won!!! See.... :frantic: :frantic: :frantic: :frantic: :frantic:"

We haven't been in the Barclays, littlewoods, worthington, carling, milk Premiership as long as stoke. So they used that experience to get the better than asss.

They have a rich heritage in producing pottery, week in week out. We can't compete with that.
