They are just the stats from this season so far and prove nothing, apart from the fact you can often fill a small ground which is nothing to shout about. Stevie is right, up until a few years ago you were getting shit attendances for Premier League games. KingDawson, would you like to explain why you only managed to break the 36k mark 5 times in the 2003/4 season? I could go back a few more seasons and get more stats proving you could not sell out till recently. 15th Oct 2001, 6,000 empty seats for a home league game against Derby County, 5,000 empty seats 30th March 2002 against Boro. Many others too but I would be here all night, it is a fact that up until recently you struggled to sell out apart from games against the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
