M4
Well it looks like Barca won't be joining us in the Waffa cup then Werder it is... wouldnt have fancied our chances against either of them though.

We came only one little scrummy ball (in the draw) away from it in 2004 when we drew Mallorca :wullie:

Mr. Snrub
Força Barça. I'm going for a 2-0 win. Should have been at least 4 only for stupid Giuly, though. At least Messi and Eto'o will be back for the last 16.

Ashley17
Well...if we find a way to beat Reading we're up to 14th. If we lose, we're well and truly in the shit Without over-hyping it, tomorrow could shape our season - with away trips to Blackburn and Chelsea coming up, we need the points to last us a while
Guest smoggeordie
We need a minimum of 4 points from our next two games

Ashley17
Depends how optimistic you are as to how bad the Charlton result is. On the plus - it's easier to catch Blackburn, you may aswell have the home sides winning these kind of games, as you would hope/expect them to lose away. On the negative it brings the bottom club closer to us, but like I said, if you're optimistic we could win tomorrow and be 14th with games in hand (...Chelsea away) over those around us. Bottom line is, if we lose tomorrow we're fucked.

Surely we should be looking to overtake those above rather than worry about those below.
morpeth mag
will Zakora be banned when they play us?
Ashley17
It's unlucky for the other team as they have no time to respond. If the goal cannoned off the guys knee and went in then it's lucky. It was a free kick, so fair play to him it was probably good.
