Interpolic
Watermarked, but Colo And people say they don't care, they are absolutley buzzing with that We deffo have a good team spirit, like, no doubt about it in my mind.
Jordan
Never felt so flat after a win. We were dreadful today. De Jong changed game.
Guest bimpy474
So what happened against Spurs and Sunderland then Brett, ignorant as usual. Funny isn't it. Villa we're terrible and we only played well in the last 20 minutes or so yet somehow the team spirit is fine. Anyone who sat through the Sunderland and Spurs games would have to be blind not to notice there's a problem. Burying heads in sand again.
The Prophet
Villa weren't that bad IMO, they just made the wrong final decision a number of times on the break at the death. They'll see it as an opportunity missed. Villa were the better team in the first half, but they couldn't keep pressing us for 90 mins. We got in the game with 20 mins left once they ran out of gas. Two s*** teams if truth be told. Nah, the 1st half was kind of even. If you ignore the fact they made a lot more chances maybe. They put the ball in the box a bit but didn't create that many more chances than we did. If by 'putting the ball in the box a bit' you mean creating a couple of guilt edged goal scoring opportunities you'd be correct.
Interpolic
Only the second time we've scored in a League game since Boxing Day, team spirit's mint man, no doubt about it in my mind.

Agree with De Jong, namely because we were winning all those crosses and hoof balls into our front men.

BrettNUFC
So what happened against Spurs and Sunderland then Brett, ignorant as usual. I've always said Colo is a massive factor. We don't have these sustained batterings when he is on the pitch. We might get trounced a game here or a game there but we don't go on these type of runs where it's embarrassing defeat after embarrassing defeat. Goalscorer and Captain today both missed the two said matches and they were the two top performers for me today, massive relief to have them both back in action. BrettNUFC
I think Colo has only ever lost one derby game in his time here, the recent games we've been soundly beaten he has been out. That's not a coincidence.
littlelunchbox
There was a time during the 2nd half round about 75th minutes or so, when we had 5 minutes of enduring pressure in their box scrambling to win the ball. It looked like 10 drunk sailors trying to hit a ball or something. Was amazing. Terrible game though.
BlueStar
Just got back, so thankful for the result. At the end after we scored one of their players took down one of ours in front on me, I shouting at the ref to give him a card and the referee was just looking at me, just after that Remy got took down at the corner flag the referee then turned to me in the crowd and signalled for me to calm down, dafty. Jordan
Lack of off the ball movement is shocking for a professional team playing at the highest level in English football. Like watching a team of amateurs.

No i'm saying he's a huge difference to our side. People can mention Cabaye and our win percentage and stats of whatever else without him in the side, but make no mistake about it, Colo is the one that holds the side together. Just like when he returned from injury late in the season last year and was excellent. He has form dips himself like any player does but the way he brings comfort to those around him is world class. There's no way Taylor could have covered for Dummett today the way Colo was always keeping check on him.
buzza
I can't remember Villa having any clear cut chances, we had three gaping misses. Whole team plays better with Colo back, allows us to play it out of defence much better. Felt sorry for Cisse, there were two or three occasions when the midfield could have given him the ball end he would be straight through, and that miss, will do no good to his already shot confidence. Anita and Tiote working well together as the two covering the defense, just don't offer much going forward. Anita made some nice passes at the end of the game when he got further forward. NB:- Pardew is a complete tw*t! Why the hell we didn't have any attacking options on the bench? He needs shot with poison darts (season ticket holders take note)
