TaylorJ_01
Gouffran is the very definition of a squad player.

magorific
New Jonas tbh You love him to start with, then the love turns to hatred Yeah basically think he'd do alright upfront though Shame we'll never get to find out...
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Why did Barkley 'shhhh' the Gallowgate? Seemed very unnecessary.
AyeDubbleYoo
Gouffran's alright out wide if he just has to work up and down the line, although he doesn't produce much. He's also quite good wide in a 433, though seems we'll never see that again. What he isn't is talented enough to get the ball deep, come infield all the time and try to be some sort of roaming playmaker.

Guest firetotheworks
What makes Gouffran good up and down the line? Scanning for witty replies...none found. He "gets back" I imagine. Not that that is what we would term as being good.
BrettNUFC
Why did Barkley 'shhhh' the Gallowgate? Seemed very unnecessary. He's a massive t***. Not sure if you meant when he scored but they were chanting 'cheat' to him. This was after Barkley's step over then skipped passed Tiote and looked clearly a foul from my view. AyeDubbleYoo
What makes Gouffran good up and down the line? He's quite intelligent, he's athletic, fairly direct. Not saying he's a winger or owt, he obviously isn't. But if Pardew wants him to fill space and work hard for the fullback, he can do that.
ujpest doza
Martinez always sets his teams up well against us and the common theme is in their positivity. Aye, Distin was left back in the 2nd half and Baines was usually in our half playing left wing not arsed in the slightest about any threat from our right. Anyhow, I thought last night was a better game and better performance than Saturday despite the widely different results. Our full backs were rank mind, as was De Jong and Goofy. Kanji
Martinez can slap five with Gus Poyet and Di Canio for giving Pardew's sides a fucking bumming.

Exactly, he's fucking lost the plot Basically given Liverpool's team talk for them, 2-0 after 70 mins, take Suarez off then go and win 5-

BrettNUFC
All Everton's goals was a result of us attacking then being caught. Pardew will be furious with that considering how negative he is, can imagine him thinking we were too attacking
Zippity
Why did Barkley 'shhhh' the Gallowgate? Seemed very unnecessary. Because he's a c**t. Remember Sturridge doing the same when he scored for Bolton-hadn't had any stick from us but had a right go after his goal. All c**ts, man.
Dan Gleebals
Give the young players a go FFS, it cannot really do any harm as we have no chance of Europe (nor do we want it). Would take 7 defeats and give them a chance and at least say, ok this is what we have (or not as the case maybe) and see whats really needed in the summer. No point stumbling to the end of the season with the same shit team and tactics, just because we are "happy with 46 points". Grow some Pardew and try a few things out.
