Doubt he's alone in that take like, Pardew was definitely the most hated manager I've seen on here.

You cut out most of the quote which gave context. I absolutely agree with @enthusiast FWIW.

Never spoke highly of us when he was actually manager. He was consistently talking us down and comparing us unfavourably to Bournemouth, Southampton and the like

I hate Pardew on a visceral, elemental level. No other manager is even in the same league.

The hatred might have seemed stronger for Pardew because he was the one who took a sledgehammer to the notion that we could become a competent PL club. By the time Bruce arrived, we'd just let the most popular manager in a generation slip through our fingers and the apathy was at an all time high, there wasn't much left of us for Bruce to destroy.

But let's not get it twisted, Bruce was a far more despicable, thin skinned, woe is me, lazy bum fraud of a manager than Pardew. Pardew was a like a sleazy used car salesman promoted way above his station.

Aye definitely, the contempt in which he held the fanbase outweighs the incompetence of the others on the list.

Both of them gaslit the fans. Bruce was lazy with it, just like everything else. Pardew was very busy with it, you could tell he saw it as part of his role.

Pardew and Bruce probably aren't far apart in terms of cuntery although Pards at least talks about us in a positive light now, unlike that tin of fucking Pek.

Pardew was also not a great manager, but was ten times the manager Bruce was - he was that shit.

Pardew always was an excellent PR man, and he's playing those same games now with his positive comments about us in the media. It's sad to see some fans take those comments at face value.

His stock soars via association with us now that we're back trying to compete at the top of the game. He would love to be a permanent fixture as the go-to NUFC pundit on Talksport or Sky - in addition to the the obvious incentive there, it retroactively assigns him a greater reputation and credibility in relation to our club and goes some way to rewriting just how immiserating so much of his time with us was.

Bruce was the equivalent of lambasting a paraplegic for not running the 100m in 10 seconds.

This cunt actively worked to quash our hopes, dreams and ambitions as a fan base - and all because he happened to owe Ashley a fair few quid in gambling debts whilst at the same time being part of the dismissal of the bloke that just so happened to bother his arse to bring a squad together and bring us up after going down.

This shithouse deserves nothing more than utter contempt.

My bitterness has faded over the years. He was popular for a bit when he was regarded as a bit of a shagger and got us 5th but ruined everything when he became Fat Mike's patsy. Amazed Crystal Palace paid a fee for him.

They're all complicit in the fraud even Shearer even Rafa. I give Hughton a pass as he was kind of left with the mess and brought there by Keegan who I don't blame in the slightest .

The 5th season was a freak of nature. We lucked out on some great signings who all hit the ground running and we earned so many points due to moments of individual brilliance twinned with the fact that so many top teams had rotten seasons. We finished 5th despite him.

Pardew's legacy will be the endless derby defeats, blaming losses on everything from the grass length, weather and the Egyptian god of death. The nail in the coffin was dedicating a win to Mike Ashley

Every manager who chose to work for Ashley after the Keegan debacle was complicit in the defrauding of Newcastle United fans . Complicit in the turning of us into a zombie club whose sole purpose was to make more money for the owner and his brand.

Didn't Rafa literally call Ashley out multiple times over it?

Was strange season, some of the football we played that year was very good, remember West Brom away and Chelsea away etc but we also had some hammerings away. Spurs 5-0, Wigan 4-0 Norwich 4-2, was like we were brilliant away or awful and no inbetween.

Yet signed a contract to work for him, contacted the club after the sacking of Maclaren to express his interest when he wasn't even on the radar with Charnley and co. I like Rafa he was a good manager and a clever politician. He went into the job here with his eyes completely open .  If Ashley had supported him better he'd have been an even better shield and Ashley could well have made even more from the takeover or perhaps have made it sooner. Certainly wouldn't have to paper over the cracks by funding Bruce and giving away tickets.

Well i resent the accusation because I think Rafa performed very well.
