Pons Alias
I am quite impressed he hasnt been told to 'ask Adam Johnson' instead by now I went to school with him. That doesn't help, but y'know. Adam Johnson or the guy tweeting Ayoze? The tweeter. I have, literally, nothing useful to bring to this conversation.
Guest axel
Would easily score 15+ goals a season in a team that actually played good football.
Incognito
Can see him playing in Russia after our impending relegation. They've been crying out for Perez striker since Gorbachev packed in.
Guest chicken little
Swear Colback doesn't have twitter either, just asked some random bloke Fake account. so some random gadgie is going to turn up at his kid's birthday party and loudly announce "yeah you invited me, i'm some sort of cunt who can't even pick a decent player to pretend to be on the internet" fuckin love the 21st century me like

Ronaldo
Considering where he came from? Unlike most of our shitty squad he came from a country that cultivates excellent footballing ability and a refined attacking approach at good tempo.
joeyt
Not bad considering a) where he came from b)his age c)how dogshit our team is And he's been playing on the wing recently

Well clearly I mean the fact it was second division football, not the country. And I'd far rather we recruit players from that division than Ligue 1 or the Eredivise. U2
Dunno about that, Ayoze is a bit of an exception.
Mole_Toonfan
Dunno about that, Ayoze is a bit of an exception. Considering all the youth players of the La Liga teams play in that division and below i doubt that.
Deuce
I'd be fine if our recruitment policy focused almost exclusively on Spain. Primera or Segunda
Deuce
Not bad considering a) where he came from b)his age c)how dogshit our team is It's been a great season for him all things considered. One of the few players who've acquitted themselves well this year. I'd love to watch him grow as a player for us, but we all know he'll be out the door the second someone comes for him. Guest
The Segunda is a terrible standard like, I watch it every week and it's not even near Championship level in my opinion.
r0cafella
The Segunda is a terrible standard like, I watch it every week and it's not even near Championship level in my opinion. Precisely. People are talking like everyone playing at Segunda level is another Ayoze ffs I've got a novel idea, why don't we just buy the best players we possible can and not give a fuck about where they come from? Ronaldo
I've got a novel idea, why don't we just buy the best players we possible can and not give a fuck about where they come from? That's more like a completely pointless and unrealistic idea.

Just saying that it's quite likely that Ayoze isn't the only talented player plying his trade in that division. Also suitable for us at this point isn't exactly a high standard

They mostly play in the third tier of Spanish football, the only B team playing in the Segunda at the moment is Barcelona and they're looking like they'll go down this season. There are a few La Liga players loaned to the Segunda clubs though.
