Stifler
I wonder if this includes the betting stands at SJP and replaces their online partnership they have with Coral?

Guest
An extra £15m a season in the transfer budget then. Would be good if we did what we did with the Northern Rock money on Owen and blew it on one marquee £40m signing.

Joe_F
Everton have announced a new shirt sponsorship deal today too with an online betting company called Sportpesa. The deal's £75m for five years. So it'll be interesting to see how that compares to ours

All that's going to do is put an even bigger disparity between in the incomes of the top and bottom clubs The income from them won't be that much £3m-£5m max for Man utd, based on what Barca get from Beko on their shirts recently. U2
Any chance we can get a Newcastle Brown patch? Aces if we could just get them to whack on a blue star for a few quid.

Guest
Wonder what their half-time entertainment will be, plus introductory sign-up offers for NUFC fans will be. That's the main thing.
Teasy
Well whether its £45m over 2 or 3 seasons its definitely a massive increase from our last deal. Which is good in more ways than one. Firstly its a boost for the budget (hopefully if Ashley actually sticks to his word). Secondly its a clear lesson to Ashley that having someone like Benitez in charge who can run the club right, unify the fans, and give it real credibility adds significant value to his asset. Our sponsorship deals had stagnated and barely improved (if at all) in value for the last 10 years. Yet despite being just back up from the Championship we've suddenly doubled or trebled (depending who you believe) our best previous deal. Surely even he can't be pig headed enough not to see the correlation between how the club is now being run and its sudden increase in attraction to sponsors. Guest neesy111
It's likely the sponsorship will depend on how we do. Most sponsorship deals are linked to performance.

Add that to massive season ticket sales along with the Sissoko cash and its a pretty healthy budget not even including the Sky money.

TK-421
i'm trying to find out how much Burnley got but no luck yet According to this they got £900k for one year (2014/15)... http://www.tsmplug.com/football/premier-league-clubs-shirt-sponsorship-deals/ But other reports when their first deal was done (2010-12) talk about a 'multi-million pound deal' . EDIT: £2.5m/year according to this.. http://www.dgsw.net/fun88-agree-pounds-2-5m-burnley-shirt-deal/
