I think some of these referees are scared to make strong disciplinary decisions towards the players, now that we are in knockouts. Studs to the knee is an orange in all honesty and some players are repeatedly making fouls and being petulant.  No cards.

 

I think this one is just a cowardly ref, he's the same one that failed to send Godin off against England.

Wouldn't be surprised if you see a few hefty Belgium challenges going in on Messi too.

 

Speaking of which dome journo from the independent was claiming he thinks Argentina will win tomorrow because Belgium haven't had a testing run. Obviously he hasn't watched much of Argentina's lacklustre performances against Iran, Nigeria and Switzerland.
